The Life of Evelyn Lee God entrusted Evelyn Deloris to the late Joseph and Evelyn Miller on February 14, 1942. She was the sister of three brothers, all of whom have gone on before her, Maynard (Emma), Carl (Lois) and Charles (Linda). As a young girl, she was injured, resulting in her losing the ability to walk. Though the years of her "disability" were long and trying, it planted a seed inside of her. A seed of "love". Her "love" grew greater than life itself. She shares this love with all people especially children.... beginning with her own, Carmein, Lanette, Glynis, Deon Sr., Orlando, Brittney, James, Tanya, Keith Travis; and those she lost along the way, Demetra, Larry, Felicia (Fee Fee), Jennifer (Jenny), John, and Terrance (TC). Her children brought even more love to her by blessing her with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loving and caring for children was her passion. She would always say, "Take care of the children." So whether you knew her as Ma, Grandma, Aunt Deloris, Miss Dee Dee or Evelyn, she was there to lend a helping hand, offer you a bit to eat, a place to stay or render sound advice. Evelyn Deloris Lee, the epitome of LOVE. She will be missed, forever remembered and always loved.
