Evelyn Bostick

EVELYN LEE BOSTICK, daughter of the late Allen Lee Bostick and Eva Mae Davis, was born on December 26, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland. She departed this life on November 27, 2015 at Keswick Multi-care in the presence of family. She passed rejoicing over her life, her love of family, and her reverence of God. She received her education at Dunbar High School in Baltimore. In her life she held many roles, none of which she cherished more than mother, grandmother, great-grandmother (Nana, confidante, and friend. She invested heavily in the future generations; she was a teacher in her spirit. She volunteered at City Spring Elementary. She individually educated almost every member of her family from addition/subtraction to multiplication/division, from writing letters to reading books. She not only loved and helped family; she supported her community as well. She welcomed others into her home; she made strangers into friends and friends into family. Evelyn loved life. She enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, watching comedies or westerns, listening to music, partying, and dancing. She will be sincerely missed by all that her light touched. She leaves to mourn: her children, Janice Williams-Boyd, Annette D. Benton, Eric T. Bostick (his wife, Sherba Bostick), and Saverna L. Bias; god-son, Thomas “Junior” Williams; grandchildren, Desean Willimas, Sherai Taylor, Michelle Jackson, Dewayne Jackson, Thadnecshia Stith, Sheldon James, Renee ‘Charmaine’ Bostick, Dion Bostick (his wife, Iram Bostick), India Bostick, Alonzo Gaines, Kevona McDonald (her husband, Mafion McDonald), Allan Couplin (his wife, Naomi Couplin), Darrick Bias (his wife, Nesha Gibson), and Aaron Bias; great-grandchildren, Adrian, Joseph, Harley, Dachauyn, Shade, Tyshuayn, Tydasia, Wayne Jr., Nathaniel, Thima, Nicholas, Phillip, Noah, Caleb, Joshua, Jamirle, Gabrielle, Dayton, Carter, Nysaiah, Michael, Myesha, Dimiah, Mikell, Kaleb, Mikayla, Bria, Mischa, Ty’Asia, Niajia, Keyshawn, Madison, Ephraim, and Chelsea; cousins and extended family, Abell “Junior”, Daniel, Renee, Gloria, Patricia, Hillard, Mamie, and Lou; sister, Thelma Pierre; and a host of other relatives and friends.
