Eveline Robinson

EVELINE E. ROBINSON was born Eveline E. Newman. She was born on January 2, 1951 in Kremlin, Virginia to the late Janie and James Newman. She departed this life on Monday, October 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Stella Maris where she was surrounded by a host of friends and family. Eveline was educated in the Virginia and Baltimore school systems. She attended Kremlin Elementary and Middle School and later she would go on to attend A.T. Johnson High School. Eveline then moved to Baltimore, Maryland where she attended Polytechnic High School for nursing. Eveline then furthered her nursing education by attending Coppin State University where she received her Nursing Degree. She then met her husband George E. Robinson, III. Eveline and George E. Robinson III were married five years later in Elkridge, Maryland. Eveline went on to be employed by Franklin Square, Seton Hill, Ravenwood Nursing facility for more than thirty years. She then retired on April 17, 2010, in unforeseen circumstances to deal with an untimely illness. Eveline loved to laugh and have a good time with her sons, family and friends. She had an awesome love for her boys, Georgie and Darren. Eveline was a member of St. Ann’s Church in Baltimore, Maryland where she received Jesus Christ as her personal Salvation and Savior. Eveline was preceded in death by her mother, Janie E. Newman; father, James “Pop” Newman; sister, Rosia Newman Wilson; and nephew, Timothy Thomas. Eveline leaves to mourn: her husband, George E. Robinson III; her sons, George E. Robinson IV and Darren C. Robinson; her siblings, Violet Newman, Ada Newman, Roosevelt Newman (Jack), Samuel Newman, Thomas Newman, James Newman and Patrick Newman; nephews, William Johnson, Matthew Wilson, Gerald Newman, Joseph Newman, Terry Newman, Ramon Carter, Edwin and Erwin Newman, James Newman Jr. and Prince Newman; nieces, Jeanette Newman and Debra Newman; grandchildren, Kevin Davis-Robinson and George E. Robinson V; cousins, Donald Thomas Sr. and Jr., Yvette Thomas, Jake Thomas; sisters-in-law, Roxanne Newman, Joann Newman, Martha Newman; and other sisters-in-law; aunt, Juanita Thomas; mother-in-law, Mary Jo Robinson; brother-in-law, Maurice Robinson; and a host of other family and friends.
