Eula Mae Brown

Mrs. Eula Mae Brown transitioned to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, Marcy 6, 2010, at Union Memorial Hospital. Eula Mae was born June 1, 1931, to the late June and Sarah McLeod in Laurinburg, North Carolina. She received her education in the public school system of Laurinburg, North Carolina.Soon after moving to Baltimore, she joined the Antioch Holiness Church under the leadership of the late Bishop George C. Moye. She later joined Highway Church of Christ located at 3100 West North Avenue under the tutelage of the late Bishop Fred Page, Sr. Evangelist Brown was a faithful member of New Beginnings Highway Church of Christ. She served the Lord with gladness and will be greatly missed. Under the leadership of Pastor Jimmie C. Thompson, Sr., one her greatest joys was working in the vineyard of the Lord. She was faithful to a plethora of ministries: Usher Board, Finance Committee, Willing Workers, Missionary board, Hospitality committee, several years as President of the Women's Day, Sunday School Department, Pastor's Aid Committee, Crusaders Choir, mass Choir, and one of the Kitchen head cooks.Eula Mae met Harris Brown, who preceded her in death in 1987. They were united in holy matrimony on April 17, 1979. She was employed at Johns Hopkins for forty-two years. She worked diligently until her retirement.Eula Mae leaves to cherish her memory: one son Willie of Baltimore, Maryland (Alexander Farmer preceded her in death); four daughters, Sarah of Laurinburg, North Carolina, Joan, Patricia, and Bernadette all of Baltimore, Maryland; one brother, WilliamCampbell (Juanita) of Laurinburg, North Carolina; fifteen grandchildren, Toni (Jakarta), Sharon, (Kristopher preceded her in death), Tyrone, Corie, Amanda, Enoch Sr., India, Melaniece, Andrea, Joseph, Sr., Marvin Jr., Destiny, and Cherish all of Baltimore, Maryland; seventeen great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Anesa, Tyrone, Shian, Tyree, TyJuan, Dahlia, Joseph, Jr., Keri, Karon, Courtney, Kristopher, Breanna, Gabrielle, Enoch Jr., Raneecha, and Unique all of Baltimore, Maryland. Three aunts, Carrie B. And Louise Clark of Laurinburg, North Carolina, and Doretha Deberry of New York; one uncle, Archie Campbell (Yvonne) of Laurinburg, North Carolina; two nephews, Laurence, and Mitchell of Laurinburg, North Carolina; daughter-in-laws, Marilyn and Yvonne (Candy) of Baltimore, Maryland; five sister-in-laws, Juanita and Roseanna of Laurinburg, North Carolina, Thelma (Leon), Donna Ruth (Walot) of Baltimore, Maryland, and Daisey of Ohio; two brother-in-laws, Judge Irving (Shirley) and Alfred (Frances) of South Carolina; three God-daughters, Zenobia and Rochelle of Baltimore, Maryland and Tynikia of Atlanta; two God-sons, Charles and James of Baltimore, Maryland; her adopted grand-son, Dan of Baltimore, Maryland. She also leaves to cherish a host of other relatives and dear friends, namely Rosetta Gaylord (her best friend), Wenday (Renee'), Rose, and Ramona were so very dear to her, all were like daughters to her.
