Ernest Delfield Randolph

ERNEST DELFIELD RANDOLPH, son of the late John and Dorothy Randolph was born on Sunday, July 11, 1948, and transitioned on Sunday, January 26, 2025. Born with a heart for service, Ernest dedicated his life to uplifting those around him. He earned a bachelor's degree in Street Cred, along with a bachelor's degree in Ministry, equipping him to share his faith and wisdom with grace and conviction. His love for God was evident in everything he did, and he lived as a beacon of integrity, kindness, and unwavering faith. As a visionary leader, Ernest pursued many entrepreneur opportunities... He was the President of Insurance Benefits Specialist, LLC, where he provided life protection products for families, Pastor of El-Judah Ministries, an evangelistic outreach ministry, and Vice President of SetFree Indeed! Empowerment Center, Inc. that provided prison re-entry services for returning citizens to successfully find their purpose, employment and strength. Beyond his professional and ministerial calling, Ernest was also an anointed saxophonist for more than 30 years. With his God-given musical gift, he ushered in the glory of God, shifting atmospheres, bringing hope, salvation, deliverance and encouragement to many. Whether through evangelistic street meetings, ministering to incarcerated men and women, or participating in church and community events, his music ministry became a vessel of healing, joy, and inspiration. Ernest was known for his humor, wit, dependability, and resolute spirit. His laughter was infectious, his generosity boundless, and his love unconditional. Whether offering wisdom, lending a helping hand, canvassing the old neighborhoods evangelizing, or simply sharing a moment of joy, he made everyone feel valued and seen. Ernest's love affair began with Rose at Morgan State University Christian Center in the summer of 1988... and married in January 1989. For 36 years Ernest demonstrated strong love, protection, provision and compassion. This same demonstration of love was also extended in his dedication and special relationships with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.. Together they were an unbeatable team. Though his earthly journey has ended, the legacy of love, faith, and service that Ernest leaves behind will endure in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. His memory will be cherished forever, and his impact will continue to ripple through the lives he inspired. He leaves to cherish his love and memory ... Rosetta Randolph, his wife of 36 years; Son Keith Randolph, Sr. (grandson Keith (great-grands Zoey and Judah), (grandson Kim Lamont Randolph (great-grands Ny'Bre, Taraji, Lyric, Kim'mora, Dhymir and Siriyah), (grandson Christian Randolph; Daughter Sirena Williams (granddaughter Courtney Whittington, (great-grands Aniyah and Jayden) (granddaughter Andrea Whittington); Sisters-in-Law Nona Moore and Patricia Anderson (Joe); God-Daughter: Crystal Fletcher (Neal) (great-god children Wardell, Joshua, Christopher, Keenan and Kaala); A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ernest is survived by his brother John and preceded in death by brothers, Jerome, Arthur, Charles, Edward and Joseph Randolph, sisters, Shirley Jefferson and Lula Caldwell. Ernest, you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith (2 Timothy 4:7). Rest in eternal peace.
