Ernest Campbell Jr

Ernest Campbell,JR was a cherished father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Brenda Callie Cox and the late Ernest Campbell on May 23, 1977. He transition from this life on November 16, 2024, at the age of 47. He peacefully passed away in the presence of his dearest loved ones following a very brief and sudden death. Ernest received a formal education through the Baltimore City Public School System. He attended Northwestern High School and enjoyed showcasing his athletic abilities on the football team. Football was his favorite sport. He spent his leisure time hanging out with friends and family, listening to music and watching football. He was an accomplished full-time employee at H&S Bakery, but his passion was in the kitchen. He was a natural born chef who took pride in preparing delicious and non tradional meals for the ones he loved most. His dreams was to own hi own Food Truck and share his love of food with the world. Cooking provided him with much joy and made anyone who had the luxury of tasting his edible creations genuinely happy. He was a tough guy with a giant heart. Very serious but silly at the same time, knowing just how and when to make you laugh. People naturally gravitate towards his infectious energy and vibrant spirit. He brought light to every room that he entered because he walked with the Lord.At only 47 years old ,he was extremely wise and gave the greatest advice.To know him was to love him. The joy of his life was spending quality time with his children .From the beginning ,he vowed never to leave their side ,and he fulfilled that promise to the end.He was a phenomenal father ,leader and protector. He leaves to mourn his mother,Brenda Cox ,four children ,Erneka Campbell-Shephard , Ernest Campbell ,II,Amanda Campbell and Arnez Campbell;son -in-law , Joshua Shephard, four grandchildren,Joshua, Josiah,Jakiyah and Jaiden (on the way!),six brothers,Billy ,Donald,Daysha and Braisya ,two nephews,Don and Bailee,three aunts,Gussie ,Doretha and Jesse,an uncle ,Micheal Goodman,and a countless host of cousins,friends and the mother of his children and life-long friend ,Jacqueline Holden.
