A Time To Be BornELIZABETH ANN DANGERFIELD, daughter and only child of the late Geneva and Lawrence Chisolm, was born on August 24, 1930 in Buckhannonn, West Virginia.A Time To DieElizabeth Ann left behind the joys and pains of this world on Thursday, November 13, 2008 after completing her work for the Lord. She endured a lengthy illness, but never wavered in spirit or faith during this time.A Time To Plant “Mama Liz”, as she was affectionately called by everyone, graduated from Riverside High School in Elkins, West Virginia, where she was crowned Ms. Riverside in 1946 after graduating. She furthered her education in Baltimore, Maryland where she attended Cortez Peters Business School, H&R Block Tax Accounting School and Essex Community College. Mama Liz worked in private industry for eight (8) years. In 1968, she began her career with the State of Maryland where she worked for thirty (30)years until her retirement.A Time To Love Mama Liz married James Neal in 1950. She later met and married the late George Dangerfield, Sr. who predeceased her in death in 2005. Mama Liz had five children: the late James Neal, the late Janice Jackson, Donald Neal, Robin Neal and George Dangerfield, Jr. (all of Baltimore, Maryland). She also has one stepdaughter, Wanda Dangerfield.A Time For SalvationMama Liz became a member of the Eastern United Methodist Church in the early 1960s. She was an active member for as long as her health permitted. Mama Liz had a passion for helping people. She would find homes, provide aid and food for the homeless. She made herself available always for each and every member of her family and their friends as well. Mama Liz loved to watch detective movies on television and spent her years after retiring with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed laughing and always had something funny to share.A Time To RememberMama Liz leaves her children to cherish and mourn her memory: the late James Neal and Janice Jackson, Donald Neal, Robin Neal, George Dangerfield, Jr. and Wanda Dangerfield; mother-in-law, Mary Dangerfield; son-in-law, Robert Jackson; brother-in-law Ricky Dangerfield; two sisters-in-law, Linda Dangerfield and Marie Wells; a host of grandchildren (17) and great-grandchildren (21); a special granddaughter, Angela Jackson; two special cousins, Donnie Williams and Mary Martin; three lifelong friends, Esther James, Sidney White and Lillian Bishop; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
