Edward T. Evans

Edward Theodore Evans was born on February 10, 1949 to the late James T. Evans Sr & Catherine M.Evans. He departed this life on Sunday December 28, 2008Pud , as he was affectionately called, was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. He accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Calvary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Dr. Lorenzo Graves Jr.Pud, to his friends, Ed to his co-workers, Pop-Pop to his grandchildren and Honey to his wife, was a lifetime of memories and happy times, He was calm and ready to help each child in his path and would say â€œ all my children with lots of love". A lover of all sports especially football !!. ( Go Ravens )Pud, also had a Special Relationship with the Senior Residents of Zion Towers, always ready and willing to assist those in need, Pud, will truly be missed BY ALL OF THOSE who knew and loved him!! Edward was employed at the Parks Sausage Company from 1970-1976, He was employed from 1976 until his demise at Zion Towers Senior Apartments, as the Maintenance Technician Supervisor under Edgewood Management Corporation. Edward, leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Hilda F. Evans, Daughter Jequetta S, Evans, Son Edward D. Evans, Daughter-in-law Christal Evans, Son Timothy P. Simon, special daughter Tevis Simon, five granddaughters , Tanysha, Shaione, Breiya, Khylea, and Ashira, One sister M. Clementine White, one brother James T. Evans Jr, and one godbrother Gregory E. Morris of Hixson, TN. One surviving aunt, Minnie Ames, one mother-in-law Vernett Carr of Rosehill, NC, five sisters-in-law Delores ( Dee ) Evans and Katie La Touche of Baltimore, MD and Rita Conley, Sharlene King, and Henrietta Carr from Rosehill, NC; four brother-in-laws, Joseph La Touche of Baltimore, MD Johnny Carr, and Rushion Carr from Rosehill, NC and Reginald Chaster from Philadelphia, PA . One godson Keyon Ferebee and one god sister Mary Forman., a host of nieces, nephews, cousins,other relatives and friends. He also leaves several devoted friends to cherish his memory,,Julius ( Bean ) Knotts, Lamont Hill, Vernon Cutting, William Blake, and Leonard Cosby.
