. EDWARD JOHN JOHNSON III, the second child of the late Edward John Johnson, Jr. and Myra Belinda Johnson, was born on January 14, 1981. He departed this life on January 19, 2025. Affectionately called “Eddie” by family, and “Blue” specifically by his mother,Edward was raised up and grew into a respectable young man with a multitude of friends in East Baltimore. He was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System, attending Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical High School through junior year. He later returned to school to earn his G.E.D., an accomplishment of which he and his family were very proud. Edward’s friend circle continued to grow due to his happy and positive demeanor. He always enjoyed a good laugh, but also deep conversations about life. He was known as “Moo” to his friends. He was a man of musical talents and wit. Edward was the most loyal, reliable and supportive friend. Growing up and throughout his life, Edward cherished his close relationships with his parents, siblings, cousins, and extended family. So, when he became a father to daughter Kylie-Rae in 2017, he was more than ready and excited to become a devoted and adoring dad. Trips to the zoo, fairs, hanging out, and whatever she wanted was his complete joy to provide. His love for her has no bounds. For many years, he worked as a skilled machine operator at the manufacturing company, Commercial-Wagner, Inc. His professionalism was exemplary, and he was highly regarded by managers and peers. Edward had an unwavering faith in God. He could uplift you by offering scriptures from the Bible that uplifted himself as well. He participated in ministry, serving as a mentor to others. Just like his mother, Edward was warm spirited, caring, and generous. His spirit illuminated the lives of everyone he encountered. He leaves to treasure his memory: his beloved daughter, Kylie-Rae Johnson and her mother, Tabetha Biggs; sisters and brother, Tiffany Turner (Rafael), Katrina Johnson, Thaisha Johnson and Marcus Johnson; his aunt, Doris Douglas; nieces and nephews, Kyle Henry, Kaylyn Henry, Olivia Fannin, Kenard Henry, Lauren Fannin, Khalil Henry; cousins, Chanay Smith, Robert Smith, Jr., Gregory Mitchell, Jr., Deirdre Mitchell, Keith Mitchell, Ranson Smith, and Malcolm Favor; a dear and special friend, Keisha Cohen-Key; and a host of extended family and friends
