Eddie W. Pugh

EDDIE WEBSTER PUGH, son of Ethel L. McCloud and the late Joseph Pugh was born on April 26, 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland. After a brief illness on February 28, 2006, Eddie departed this life peacefully in the presence of his wife.Eddie as he was affectionately called by his family and friends was one of a family of eight children. He was educated in the Baltimore City public school system. At an early age he attended New Metropolitan Baptist Church, where he was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. In 1991 he re-dedicated his life to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.Eddie held positions with The Maryland Cup Company and Atco Rubber Products. For approximately 10 years he was employed by the Baltimore City convention Center, as a Crew Leader for Client Services in the Operations Department, where he developed many wonderful relationships and friendships with the staff and co-workers.Eddie was the father of two children, his daughter: Davonne Pugh-Jackson and his son: Daronne Pugh. He was preceded in death by his brother: Irvin Pugh, father: Joseph Pugh and daughter: Davonne Jackson.In 1997, Eddie met and developed a warm and loving relationship with Cheryl (Bunny). The two began an inseparable union of many happy memories, which entered into Holy Matrimony on July 23, 2005, when they happily became Husband and Wife.Eddie entertained himself by watching old western movies, singing oldies, going out dancing, and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed the closeness and warmth of sharing his life and experiences with his loving wife, fishing with his older brother “Odell”, shopping and hanging out with his son (Daronne) and the many family gatherings especially during the holidays.Eddie was a devoted husband, a family man and a good friend. His quiet spirit, warm smile and gentle way will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Cheryl Pugh; son, Daronne Edward Pugh; stepchildren, Deong Smith and Cheryl Bell; mother, Ethel McCloud; sisters, Josephine Pugh-Johnson of North Carolina and Jacqueline Pugh-Burke; brothers, Odell of North Carolina, Johnnie, Miekeal of Pennsylvania, and Wardell; sister-in-laws, Rochelle Pugh, Daphne Pugh, Sharon Harris and Dana Oliver; brother-in-laws, Johnnie Johnson and Delmar Taylor; uncles, Jesse Ray and Theodore Pugh, both of New York; aunts, Lillie Ruth Anderson and Gloria Pugh and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
