Duane E. Brightful

DUANE EARL BRIGHTFUL entered into eternal rest on the morning of February 3, 2015. Duane was born on February 19, 1974 the son of Diane Elizabeth Shellington and the late Robert Earl Brightful. He was the stepson of the late James Shellington. Duane received his education through the Baltimore City Public School System. Following high school Duane worked various jobs until he found his passion in the Pest Control Industry. Duane began his career as a Pest Control Technician with Soloman Pest Control Company in 2003. In 2007 Duane began working for Reed's Termite & Pest Control Company where he was a faithful employee. The Pest Control Industry allowed Duane to come in contact with many people, and many friendships were formed. At a very early age Duane gave his life to Christ at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Baltimore, Maryland. Duane was a loving son and a wonderful Dad to his two children Lil Duane and Dayna. Duane was passionate about his family. He loved spending time with family, he was very protective of his children and cousins, especially the girls. (Azalea) In addition to his family Duane enjoyed listening to music, watching sports, hanging with his close friends, (one being Peanut) and caring for his grandmother. Duane will be remembered as a devoted father, true friend, caring brother and a loving family man. Duane leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Diane Shellington; his son, Duane Marcus Brightful; his daughter, Dayna Monai Brightful; two brothers, Jermaine Shellington and Robert Earl Brightful jr.; one sister- in-law, Katina Shellington; grandmother, Berdella Seward; two nephews, Guy Solomon and juwane Shellington; one niece, Harmony Garrett; aunts and uncles, Shirley and William (Sponge), Wilbert and Josephine, Elaine, Delores, Michelle and William (ED), Sandra & Wilbert (Will), Darrell and Cheree, Rodney and Jacqueline, Deborah, Cyrus; one special great-aunt, Harriet Skinner; two great-uncles, Randolph (Russell) and Phillip (Bill) and Georgia; a host of other beloved family members and friends. Duane also shared a special bond with the mother of his children, Monica Harriston; his best friend, Harold Evans (Peanut), Walter and Mary Reed of Reed's Termite and Pest Control Company; his co- workers and friends, Michael Stuckey, Stan Moore, Jeremy Powe, Antwan Reed and Justin Crawford.
