Dornese M. Bradley

Dornese Marion Bradley peacefully passed away on July 9, 2026, at home after a brave battle with illness. Born on September 4, 1963, in Baltimore, Maryland, she lived 62 beautiful years. Dornese was the third daughter and sixth child of the late Charles Jerry Bradley, Sr. and Irene Roena Tates. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved brothers, Charles, Jr., Marvin, and Anthony. Dornese was a proud graduate of the Baltimore City Public School System, having attended Johnston Square Elementary, Lombard Middle School, and Southern High School. She furthered her education by obtaining a Safe Food Serve Certificate. Dornese's career highlighted her dedication to service. As a dietary aide at Bayview Hospital and an environmental services aide at Towson University, she performed her duties with diligence and grace, leaving a lasting impression on her co-workers. Dornese stood out for her professional achievements and her vibrant spirit. She loved dancing and could always and could always be found on the dance floor whenever music was played, expressing her inner joy. Her passion for seafood, especially crabs, was only matched by her deep love for her family. Dornese was a loving grandmother who devoted herself to caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her home, always spotless, served as a sanctuary filled with love and laughter, showcasing her exceptional housekeeping skills. Those who knew her could feel her warmth, appreciate her quick wit, and be moved by her radiant smile, which had the power to brighten even the darkest of days. Her incredible legacy of love and strength continues to thrive through her wonderful family, including her dedicated daughters: Charlene Johnson, Darlene Johnson, and Shauntell Johnson and son-in-law: Kevin Miller, Sr. As a beloved grandmother, she brought joy to Kashae Miller, Kevin Miller Jr., Kennedy Miller, Kayla Naylor, Kirsten Brown, and Kelsie Johnson. In 2025 Dornese's heart truly blossomed with the love of her great-grandchildren, Kaiden Miller and Kaliyah Young. She is also survived by her brother, Allen Bradley, and her three sisters, Charlene Drewery, Margaret (Cecil) Adams, and Towanda Bradley. Her family includes her aunts, Nettie Rid and Mary Dent, and her uncle, Kenneth Dent, Sr. Dornese was also blessed with numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a host of other family and friends, all of whom will miss her deeply. Maria was an incredibly caring friend, always there to guide and support Dornese on her life journey, making every step easier and more meaningful. We say goodbye to Dornese, celebrating a well-live life. She was a woman whose love, strength, and compassion made a lasting impact on the hearts of everyone who knew her. May her soul rest i eternal peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will always be missed.
