Donte' Spencer Downer

DONTE' SPENCER DOWNER, son of Spencer Downer and Rhonda Plummer was born on July 16, 1985 in Baltimore, Maryland. He departed this life very tragically on the afternoon of Saturday, January 17, 2015. Donte' was born and raised in Baltimore City, and received his education in the Baltimore City Public School System, where he obtained his high school diploma from Southwestern Senior High School. He held numerous jobs throughout his short life from construction to working at his sister's childcare center. Donte' spent his early childhood years in Lexington Terrace. He was always a rough and tough little boy, which explains how he obtained the nickname “Eyeball.” One day while playing down “the terrace” he decided to smash a bottle with his foot and small pieces of glass shattered into his eye causing a major eye injury. However, that injury did not deter him from being a smooth talking, suave, charismatic type of guy. Everyone who knew Donte' can attest that he was very outspoken and did not have a problem with speaking his mind. Although Donte' became a fother at a very young age he did not allow that to interfere with him stepping up and being a great father to his son. That was 13 years ago and now today he has three more children and has become an even greater father. As a matter of fact, he was an EXCELLENT father. Donte's children were his world. The relationship he shared with his children was somewhat amazing. Donte' leaves behind to cherish his fond memories: his parents, Rhonda Plummer and Spencer Downer; two twin daughter, Da'myah and Da'niyah Downer; two sons, Donte' Downer Jr. and Dy'monte Downer; a sister (more like a mother) Dawn Moore; two sisters, Ariel Brunson and Kiquana Downer; one brother, Jasmine Brunson; two aunts, Fonda Plummer and Sharon Downer; six uncles, Anthony Downer, Alan Downer, Victory Downer, Barry Downer, James Downer, and Henry Plummer; one great uncle, Wesley Downer; five nieces, Brittion, Shaniya, Jayla, Heaven, and Shatyia; four nephews, Jordan, Jasmine Junior, Korey, and Mike; his soul mate and mother of three of his children, Shantia Floyd; a devoted friend and mother of his youngest son, Chimere Ford; a favorite cousin, Tonya Downer; a stepmother, Shawan Coner; and a host of other cousins, relatives and friends.
