Dominick Floyd Boone

DOMINICK FLOYD “NiCKY” BOONE was born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 26, 1960. He was the son of Mary Joyce Graham and the late Edward Louis Boone. Dominick was called home on Saturday, June 10, 2023, after a lengthy illness. As a child, Dominick spent a lot of time at the family’s home on Pulaski Street in Baltimore City. His aunt Cecilia, uncle Mord, and great grandmother Viola were absolutely crazy about Dominick as well as his paternal grandparents, George, and Lena Boone. They couldn’t get enough of him! “Nicky”, as he was affectionately known by his family and friends, graduated from Carver Vocational-Technical High School in 1979. Nicky was presented an award from the Printing Industries of Maryland, Inc. The award was in recognition of the outstanding work by the top printing vocational students of Carver-Vocational Technical High School. Nicky was chosen for this award of excellence. Nicky would continue this field of work for several years after high school. Nicky was very smart and found new ways to accumulate more money. He invested in Baltimore properties and rented out his properties to tenants in Baltimore City. He enjoyed these investments. Nicky married his longtime girlfriend in the mid 1980s, Darlene Brunson Boone. Through this union two sons were born, Dominick and Michael. He was a devoted husband and father who made sure that his family was well taken care. Nicky was always business minded, even as a young teen he would cut all his neighbor’s grass to earn money. He loved food and enjoyed his daily cup of coffee and coca colas along with his sweets! Daily, Nicky would make his round of calls to his siblings and mother and talk about his day and make jokes. He enjoyed visits from his family! His devoted mother Mary, made sure that she visited him weekly. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Mary Joyce Graham, two sons, Dominick and Michael; three grandchildren, two sisters, Stacey Mason & Roslyn Boone; two brothers, Lloyd Graham Jr. & Michael Boone ; three nephews David Mason{proceeded him death}, Lloyd Graham III , Tyraye Graham; one niece, Sage Mason; His aunts, Sandra, Linda, Addie, and Regina; and a host of other relatives and friends.
