Delores Wyatt Alexander

The journey of our Matriarch and Leading Lady!! Delores Wyatt Alexander born on August 15, 1940 in Richmond Virginia peacefully transition on June 24, 2026. She was the only daughter of the late Kaiser Munford and Thelma Wyatt. Delores was well known for her feisty spirit, unwavering determination, and giving heart. At an early age, Delores dedicated her life to Christ. Becoming a member of Bethlehem Church and Bibleway Holiness Church. She received her education through the Richmond public school system, and graduated from Maggie L Walker high school. She later became a faithful member of the Cedar Street Baptist Church in Richmond, Virginia. Throughout her life, Delores worked tirelessly to provide for and support her family. She was employed by the medical College of Virginia for more than three decades where her dedication and leadership enabled her to advance to the position of supervisor, a role she held for many years. Following a diagnosis of breast cancer, she retired earlier than planned. Through her faith, strength and perseverance. She overcame the battle and became a proud 36 year breast cancer survivor. Delores was known as a true fashionista who had a passion for shopping. She had an eye for style and carried herself with elegance and Grace wherever she went. In her leisure time she enjoyed completing puzzles, cooking meals for her family and spending time with those she love. She also enjoyed watching movies and Westerns, especially those starring Clint Eastwood among her favorite films were, The Color Purple, Pretty Woman and Dirty Dancing. Delores was proceeded in death by her parents, Kaiser Munford and Thelma Wyatt, her daughter Charlene White, her son Charles Alexander, four grandchildren Felicia Roberson, Marlo Alexander, LaSonia Roberson, and Shecola Alexander and one great grandchild Sophia Alexander. She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving daughter, Pamela Jarmond 12 grandchildren, including her two devoted grandsons, Jermaine Roberson and Gregory White, 50 great grandchildren, including her devoted great grandson, Tyrique Alexander, 30 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Delores Wyatt Alexander will always be remembered for her deep love of family, strong, work ethic, resilience and determination. Her legacy of faith, strength and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her, though she is no longer with us in body, her memory and the love she shared will remain in our hearts forever.
