Delbert Roosevelt Bush, Jr. affectively known as “Mann” received his heavenly wings on Tuesday, May 27, 2014, with his mother and father by his side. Delbert was educated in the Henrico County Public School System. A 2009 Highland Springs High School graduate. He received his Associates degree in Early Childhood Education at J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College. He also attended Virginia College to study Cosmetology. Delbert accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age. He was a member of the Joy Bells Choir, served on the Junior Usher Board, and participated in the Bible Bowl. Delbert worked various jobs within the Fast Food industry. His most memorable employment was the time he spent with NCO Financial Services in Hampton, Virginia where he had an extreme impact on his co-workers. Delbert was such a loving and joyful person. He was always in a happy mood; he would do or say something to lift you up if you were feeling down. Delbert loved music and dancing and everyone knew he loved himself son Beyoncé. Delbert was a very out spoken person, who kept his head high, not caring what others said or thought about him. He always tried to motivate you to be yourself, and to do your best at whatever you did. His favorite saying was “What’s the TEA” meaning what’s the word. He would hold up a cup, and say “I have the cup, so give me the TEA” To know Delbert is to fall in love with him and his sweet spirit. Delbert you spirit will forever live on in our memories. Delbert leaves to cherish his fondest memories, his loyal and devoted father and mother Delbert Sr. and Adriane Bush. One grandmother Shirley Ann Bush, five aunts; Barbara (Will) Whaff, Mary (Willie) Parker, Estelle (James) Howard, Elaine Brandon, and Teresa Bush. Four uncles; Manuel Bush, Jerome, Leroy, and Anthony Bonner. A host of other relatives and friends. Delbert also had an extended family circle to include Millenium Snow, Julius Smith, Jelissa Summers and more. We were blessed to have had Delbert with us for such a short time. Now we have to let him go to be a heavenly angel watching over us. Our memories of him will always last until we meet again.
