Deborah Swann

Deborah Paula Swann, daughter of the late Herman and Pearl Swann was born in Baltimore, MD August 20, 1952. She departed this life on Thursday, November 27, 2018. Deborah grew up in the Kingdom Hall serving Jehovah where she remained a faithful servant until her death. Deborah was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. She retired after many years of service in the Nursing field, where she was accredited for always remaining professional, caring and most dedicated. Once retiring from her career in nursing/rehabilitation centers, Deborah took on side work where she helped families in need of personal home health care where again her work, commitment and loving care remained outstanding. Deborah's ultimate and amazing job was caring for and protecting her family (if you knew better, you knew not to come for family and think you weren't going to go thru her first lol) She loved them all to the moon and back and made sure to let them know everyday. Deborah had a few favorite things she enjoyed doing. Sitting on her porch listening to her oldies but goodies (favorite artist: Patti LaBelle and a favorite song by Shirley Brown "Woman to Woman"). Deborah also loved and made strong emphasis on Sunday dinners with her family and games of spades pinnacle. Another of Deborah's favorite was shopping at Walmart and lunch with her two daughters, mother-daughter(s), girl time, she loved being out with them, especially because they both spoiled her to no end. In addition to family, Deborah had extended family, her partners in crime: Ms. Renee Edwards. Ms. Barbara Cobbs and Ms. Elva Rodgers, she enjoyed spending time with them and always look forward to their daily lunches. Deborah's life was centered around her family and as it increased to grandchildren and great grandchildren it pleased her well to watch them grow, play and become one under the "Swann" wing of her arms. Deborah leaves to mourn two daughters, Janet Albritton and Stacy Hill, two son-inlaws, Eb Albritton and Kenneth Hill. Six brothers: Walter Swann, Gordon Swann who preceded her in death, Johnny Jackson, Pete Bivans, Garrette Swann and Allen Swann, one sister, Cynthia Wilson, one sister-in-law, Sharon Swann, one brother-in-law, Andre' Wilson, six grandchildren, Debbie Copes, David Jackson, Norman Sydnor III, Kenneth Hill III, Robert Terrell, and Dominic Hall, ten great grandchildren, fifteen nieces and nephews and a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends who loved her dearly and a dear special friend, Oscar Taylor AKA "Jamaica" who also preceded her in death.
