Ms. Deborah Carol Lloyd

Deborah Carol Lloyd, was born on July 31, 1954, to Clinton and Bertha Lloyd in Baltimore, MD. She peacefully departed this life on January 14, 2025. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend who left behind a legacy of love, creativity, and devotion. She attended Eastern High School and soon after received her Sew and Tailor Certificate from a Baltimore Voc-Tech Program of study. Her life was marked by hard work, talent, and generosity. She was employed by Katzenberg in the early 1970’s where her gift as a seamstress blossomed. She later became employed by Maryland Transportation Authority as a toll collector, Giovonni’s, Woodholme Country Club and other jobs which included the joy of being a consultant for Mary Kay. She dabbled in building businesses, two of which were: La Tasty Pastries and Sew Mystical Love. She carried out all of her work with dedication and grace. Beyond her labor life, Deborah was a gifted artisan and was known for her ability to create beauty with her hands (i.e. stylish outfit creations, beautiful greeting cards, useful and practical crafts, and delectable desserts). Her passions extended to traveling, dancing, savoring good food, and cherishing every precious moment spent with her family. She was baptized at the First United Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic) under Bishop Monroe Saunders Sr. and rededicated her life in recent years. Deborah leaves to treasure her memory, a loving and faithful daughter, Sirena Alford (Steven); her cherished eldest son, Lamont Georges (Nicole); nine awesome grandchildren: Dayshalon, Briona, Steven Jr., Sha'Nea, Malichi, Mekhi, Sierra, Micah, and Mikhail; four precious great-grandchildren: Peyton, Ashton, Legend and Harmony Rose. She also leaves behind three special Uncles: Welton Lloyd, Eugene Drayton (Yvonne), and Marvin Fleet, a daughter of love, Mika; the Lloyd and Johnson families; two high school friends of 58 year, Lois Butler and Judy Allen; a very close N.C. friend, Kim; chosen and preferred caretaker and friend, Rachel Heggins, as well as a host of other family members and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Deja’ and youngest son, Pierre Georges Jr. Deborah’s warmth, creativity, and unwavering love touched everyone who really knew her. Her memory will live on in the lives she enriched and the memories she created. “Though we cannot see you, your love surrounds us still. Rest peacefully, knowing you will forever remain in our hearts.”
