Dania Sheba Banks

Dania Sheba Banks, daughter of the late Paul and Mozelle Toliver, was born on November 15, 1951 in Washington, D. C. She departed this life on June 13, 2005 at University Specialty Hospital after a lengthy illness. She received her education through the Baltimore City Public School System. She worked as a domestic engineer for numerous years. She became employed by the Baltimore County Public School System as a custodian where she remained until she became ill. She received Salvation and the Baptismal of the Holy Spirit at Open Door Bible Way Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Elder Horace Smith Sr. She was a member of Eternal Life Full Gospel Christian Center Inc. where the Pastor and founder is Evangelist Betty Paige-Hargrove. She loved Pastor Betty Paige-Hargrove. She always said "I Love my Pastor! Pastor Betty Paige-Hargrove, she taught me how to live Holy." Dania was a dedicated member of Eternal Life Victory of Praise Choir. She married Charles Banks; from this union two children were born, Sheila and Teresa. Dania (BKA Sheba) was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She called her grandchildren chocolate drops and crumb snatchers. Sheba loved and cared about her family deeply. Sheba truly loved the traditional family gathering at her sister Lark's house every Christmas and holidays. She could hardly contain herself when she was preparing for the family fourth of July cook-out each year. She loved her family and friends and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knew her. Sheba was always a loving, true, and trusted friend to Margarite Marie Burgess-Queen for thirty-five years. She leaves to mourn: two children, Sheila Banks and Teresa Banks; three grandchildren, Travis Raye, Tevin Raye and Tywon Smith; three sisters, Lark Cooper, Mirium McClinton and Marnerva Jarvis; three brothers, Paul Toliver, Jr., Gregory Toliver and James Toliver; three sisters-in-law, Alice Toliver, Tartila Toliver and Cheree' Toliver; two brothers-in-law, William Cooper and Audel McClinton; nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends, to include her children's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Banks, Sr. and their paternal aunts and uncles, Wayne Banks, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Johnson.
