Dishan DaRell Brockenbrough was born on May 8, 1978, and entered into eternal rest on July 10, 2025. In February 2025, DaRell made the deeply personal decision to rededicate his life to Christ at Walk Church in Las Vegas, Nevada under the leadership of Pastor Heiden Ratner. This renewal of faith was a meaningful and powerful moment in his spiritual journey that reflected his continued desire to grow in his relationship with God and live with purpose, humility, and love. His faith guided him and shaped the way he uplifted those around him. Known for his vibrant spirit, unwavering loyalty, and sense of humor, DaRell brought light and laughter to every room he entered. His energy was magnetic, and his ability to connect with people, no matter their walk of life, was a true gift. A passionate fan of the North Carolina Tar Heels and the San Francisco 49ers, DaRell supported his teams with the same heart and enthusiasm he gave to his family and friends. Game days were often filled with spirited cheering, commentary, and shared joy. But it was through music that DaRell truly came alive. More than a hobby or even a career, music was his calling. A gifted musician, he poured his soul into every note, lyric, and performance. Through his music, he inspired, comforted, and connected with countless people leaving behind a legacy of creativity and passion that will live on. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Mary and Berkley (Kelly); his devoted sisters, Rachel and Angel (AJ); his caring step-brothers, Tony (Marisa), Austin, Cameron (Cammy); his beloved dog, Brazy; his cherished nieces and nephews: Ailynne, Asa, Landon, Avonlea, Liam, Aaron Judah, Alani, Arrow, Khalil, Watts, Callan, Lelyn, and Hayden; his beloved aunt, Genitha (Allen), two maternal aunts and six uncles. He is also survived by a host of extended family members and friends. Each of them will carry forward his love, his laughter, and the beautiful memories they shared with him. DaRell’s life was a radiant blend of faith, family, friendship, and artistry. Though his time here was far too brief, the depth of his impact is immeasurable. He will be missed deeply, loved eternally, and remembered always.
