Crystal D. Sheffield

Crystal Sheffield was the daughter of Issac Allen, Sr., and Cornelia Allen. She was born November 8, 1966 in Baltimore, MD. On Thursday morning August 22, 2002, the Lord called Crystal home. At an early age Crystal received the Lord in her life. She was baptized and became an active member of the St. Paul Baptist Church. She attended Sunday school and loved singing on the choir. Crystal was educated in the Baltimore Public School system. She attended Mergenthaler Vocational High School were she majored in commercial food. After graduating in June 1984, she entered the work force to advance her skills. She completed her apprenticeship at Jay’s Deli. She moved on to become the Sales Coordinator for the Marriott Catering Services located at Loyola College. Crystal’s food presentations showed her love in this field of work. Her fruit displays were so precise and luscious you could taste them just by looking at them. On Sept 14, 1999 she joined the Baltimore City police department. On April 14, 2000 she graduated from the Police Academy and was assigned to the midnight shift in the Western District. Oh, how she loved working this shift. Even though the shift was very challenging it enabled her to spend quality time with her son and family. Because of her sincere dedication to helping people she was actively involved in her community where she worked. She had a loving and giving heart and she gave to numerous charitable organizations. Crystal enrolled in the up coming fall semester at Baltimore City Community College to advance her career in serving others. Her ultimate goal was to earn a degree in Law Enforcement. On February 14, 1987, Crystal married William Andre’ Sheffield. Out of this union, one son, Darian J. Sheffield was born. Darian was her heart. Her dedication to her son showed through whenever you saw them together.Chrystal had a zest for life. She made friends wherever she went. She was always pleasant, outgoing, enthusiastic, and willing to jump in and assist when and wherever she was needed. She was very health conscious. She loved exercising as well as dancing.Crystal leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Andre’ Sheffield, son, Darian Sheffield, father, Issac Allen, Sr., mother, Cornelia M.
