Cornell Levoice Stamper

CORNELL LEVOICE STAMPER, son of La’Shone J. Stamper and Cornell Eldridge Jr., was born October 23, 1987 in Baltimore, Maryland. He suddenly departed this life on June 22, 2007.Cornell was educated in the Baltimore City Public School System. He graduated from Forest Park High School. Upon graduation, he attended Lincoln Technical Institute and successfully completed the Information Technology program. At the time of passing, he was pursuing an A.A. degree in Business Management at Baltimore City Community College and was gainfully employed at Johns Hopkins Hospital in the Medical Records Department.He enjoyed playing basketball, football, video games, shooting pool and spending time with family and friends. Since acquiring a car, he enjoyed traveling. It was his desire to drive to as many states as possible.Cornell was a go-getter and was very motivated. From the time he started his first job at Konstant’s Hotdog stand in Lexington Market, he had worked non-stop. He was always seeking ways to better himself and to earn money to help his mother and younger sisters.“Nelly”, as he was often called by his family and friends, was a compassionate, kind and easygoing young man. He never gave his parents and family any trouble. You could count on him to be responsible and to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.To have known Cornell was to love him. For, he was truly a fine young man who was certainly loved and admired by all who knew him.He leaves to cherish and hold dear to their memories: his parents, La’Shone Stamper; father, Cornell Eldridge, Jr.; two sisters, Chanel and Ja’Nel Stamper; four brothers, Vaughn Stamper, Cornell III, Kyron, and Caron Eldridge; grandparents, Madeline Carroll and Levoice Stamper and Janet and Cornell Eldridge Sr.; great-grandmother, Leerinder H. Carroll; two uncles, Bryant Eldridge and Elvin Strand; nine great-aunts, Alverta Miller, Linda Pittman, Bertha C. Prince, Lisa Carroll, Ella Stamper, Hazel Lemon, Jeanetta Jackson, Leatha Stamper and Dorothy Foster; very special cousins, Dez, Li’Shel and D’mirian Carroll; devoted and loving intended fiancée’, Michel Tucker; godparents, Linda Hamlett and Michelle Herbert; and a host of other relatives and friends.
