CLYDE JAMALL TATUM departed this life sadly on Saturday, January 21, 2006. One of God’s Angels opened up the pearly gates and took “Clyde” to a better place. Clyde Jamall Tatum, beloved son of Antoinette Sims, Clyde Tatum Jr. and step-father Billie Mitchell (who stood by Clyde like he was his own) was born on November 11, 1989, to a strong, caring and loving mother who loved him dearly and never failed him no matter what was wrong. Antoinette raised Clyde to be the best young man we all came to know and love. She also raised nine other children on her own and never gave up on them no matter what.Clyde received his education through the Baltimore City Public school system. Clyde was loved by his family and he loved them. Clyde was a very funny, lovable, caring, smart person who could make you laugh when you were feeling down. Clyde was a very happy person who always would smile, even if he had one of the worst days ever, he would never let no one make him feel down. Clyde was a family man who loved his family with all his heart and would do anything for them. He had a magic smile that no one could pass by. Clyde was a mama’s boy who would go to his mommy for any and everything. He loved his mother like no other. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.Clyde leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Antoinette Sims, Father, Clyde Tatum Jr.; stepfather, Billie Mitchell, eight sisters, Tisha Sims, Sierra Mitchell, Tyisha, Taneka, Stacey, Ebony, Shanell and Gaynell Tatum; nine brothers, Jamel and Dontay Sims, Jermaine, Demetrius, Tracey and Clyde Tatum J, Lil Billie, Devontay and Darontay Mitchell and Jerome Bradshaw; one grandmother, Shirley Sims; one grandfather, Clyde Tatum Sr.; nine aunts, Shirley Reed, Lorelle Talley, Claudette burst and Ernestine Carter; three uncles, Joe Alex, Burnell Sims, and Anthony Bonaparte; three nieces, Doray Sims, Donshay Sims and Jamira Green; six nephews, Dontraz Johnson, Demetrius Howard, Jamel Sims Jr., Brian Bradshaw, Demarco Allen and Kailhi Tatum.Clyde goes on to join the late Daron Mitchell, Melvin Sims, James Sims, Sr., James Sims Jr., Arvelle Reid, Shirley Tatum and Miracle Green. Clyde will be missed by a host of other friends, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and a very devoted friend Brittany Griffin.
