In Loving Memory Clara Octavia Milton, 80, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 20, 1943, in Manhattan, New York, Clara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend to many, and Apostle of the Lord’s church. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Milton and a devoted mother to son Ron T. Arrington. Apostle Clara is survived by her brother, David Pemberton (Brenda Pemberton). Her children are Raymond D. Arrington, Jamel A. Milledge (Richina Milledge), and Tierra T. Key-Pope (Ralph Pope). Her grandchildren Ashley, Ebony, Devin, Kenji, Raymond Jr, Jamel, Jahmel, Chyane, Lyasia, Elijah, Isaiah, Naomi, and a host of Great Grandchildren, and many other family members and dear friends. Apostle Clara Milton’s life was a testament to her dedication to love, faith, family, and service, a commitment she lived out daily. Apostle Clara Milton was a beacon of light in her family and the community, leading countless souls to Christ through her tireless devotion and ministry. She and her beloved husband founded and led the Greater Love Apostolic Deliverance Family Church for over 30 decades, nurturing and guiding believers with love, wisdom, compassion, and unwavering faith. But her most enduring legacy is the mentorship she provided, not just to her family but to many others, leaving a legacy of love, hope, grace, and spiritual strength. Apostle Clara Milton was an anointed, dynamic, and powerful “Ministry Gift” given to the Body of Christ. She was known for her uncanny accuracy and keen insights in speaking the Prophetic Word of God. Her heart desired to see souls saved and God’s people fulfilling their God-given assignment. Her commitment to the work of the Kingdom was unwavering, touching lives far and wide, extending beyond the walls of her church into the hearts of all who knew her. Apostle Clara Octavia Milton’s memories and love will always be in our hearts. One of her favorite sayings is, “To God Be the Glory.” Those words resonate in our hearts. Apostle Clara Octavia Milton gave so much wisdom/love to everyone who came into her life to live by. She always exemplified “Agape” love to all humanity.
