Christopher Richardson

Christopher Richardson Jr., son of Christopher Richardson Sr., and Kimberly Howard-Burnside, stepson of Michael Burnside, was born on March 27, 1989. On September 13, 2004 he was shot, and on September 14, 2004 at 2:38 p.m. he passed away.Chris received his education at McCormick and Dr. King Elementary School. He then went on to private school at Forbush. Since birth Chris was fascinated with dirt bikes, four wheelers, motorcycles; he liked to build his own bikes and go-carts with scraps he found. In 2002, Chris built a rabbit hut for his school. He enjoyed playing video games and sports especially basketball.Chris, known as C-Money,” made numerous friends wherever he went. He is special because he always defeated the odds; he did what he knew he could and what he wanted to do. He worked harder when told he wouldn’t make it. Although he was usually the youngest amongst his friends, he always represented himself as the oldest-calling friends “my sons.”Chris’ dream of fame and fortune was stolen from him on September 13, 2004. He leaves to mourn: his mother, Kimberly; father, Christopher Sr.; stepfather, Michael; brothers, John, Che, Ayotunde, Michael Jr., C’ree and his “Lil” Man” Kyjuan, sisters, Ebony, Ashley J., C’risha, Christiana and his “Little Princess” Kyara; grandparents, Mary Harris, Earlene Fowlkes, William Howard and Roy Davenport; great-great grandfather, Robert Beverly-who Chris lovingly called “Grand-Pop; uncles, Jeffrey, Darrick, Douglas, Billy, Raymond and Peanut; aunts, Cindy, Ron, Debbie and Carolyn; great-uncles, Ricky and Roscoe; great-aunts, Brenda Howard, Pat, Emma, Betty, Diane and Glenda; godmothers Tracey and Moe; godbrothers, Dominick and Daquan. Also surviving are numerous cousins, Zuri, Jordan, Jeff Jr., Javon, Derek, Darrick, Chaz, Tony, Xavier, Raeqaundia, Byron, Ryan, Ashley, Kiawira, Kemeisha, Kelly, Samantha, Michelle, Tay, Anthony and Jamon. Also surviving are numerous other relatives and friends.Chris was blessed with life on the same date as his great-grandmother, Mildred Murray; he now goes to join his motivator along with his great-grandfather, Johnny Murray; aunts, Cheryl Howard and Diane Childress.
