On Saturday, April 11th, 2026, our beloved Christina Marie Robinson, 35, of Richmond, Virginia, gained her wings and now rests with the angels in heaven. Christina was born on May 18, 1990, in Richmond, Virginia. She was the loving daughter of Lizzie Robinson Lawrence and the late Zachery Barber, whom she deeply adored, and the cherished stepdaughter of William Lawrence. Christina attended Richmond Public Schools and graduated from John Marshall High School in 2008. After high school, she pursued her passion for beauty by attending cosmetology school, where she honed her skills and deepened her love of makeup and hair. She had a natural talent for makeup and took pride in helping others feel confident and beautiful. For Christina, beauty was more than appearance—it was a way to express creativity and bring out the best in those around her. She also enjoyed making jewelry, crafting unique pieces that reflected her personal style and artistic spirit. She loved music and dancing, finding joy and freedom in rhythm and movement. Whether through makeup, her handcrafted jewelry, or her dancing, Christina expressed herself with creativity, care, and an enduring spirit. Christina was known for her feistiness, kindness, and generosity, as well as a quiet strength that carried her through life’s most difficult moments. Her presence carried a spark—warm, expressive, and unmistakably her own. Even in the face of illness, she carried herself with remarkable courage and grace, never allowing it to define the fullness of who she was. She found deep joy in writing poetry, using it as both a refuge and a gift—turning her thoughts, hopes, and life into words that reflected both vulnerability and beauty. Her poetry became a lasting expression of her spirit: honest, thoughtful, and heartfelt. Through her writing and her presence, Christina touched the lives of many. She had a rare ability to connect with others in meaningful ways, whether through a heartfelt conversation, a simple act of kindness, or a poem that spoke directly to the heart. Those who knew her will remember not only the strength she showed in her final chapter, but also the light she shared throughout her life—a light that continues to liveon in every life she touched. She is survived by two daughters, Tiyona Robinson and Eria Adkins, her fiancée Eric Adkins; mother, Lizzie Robinson Lawarence, two brothers, Taurus Robinson and Zachery Martin, four sisters, Antionette Shepperson (Jamil), Katherine Banks, Tiffany Robinson, and the late Connie Singleton. Six aunts, Linda Bell, (Russell) Deborah Delaware, Connie Barber, Vanessa Barber, Carla Williams, Gloria Green; Seven uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Two devoted nephews, Geremiah and Gerard Robinson, and one devoted niece, Jaela Robinson; Two best friends, Brittany Saunders and Tarasia Gulley.
