Cheryl Brightful

Cheryl C. Brightful , daughter of Melvin Williams and Marceline Pettit was born on October 26, 1958 in Baltimore Maryland the Lord called her on Friday , March 25, 2011, having suffered a catastrophic stroke early Thursday morning. In 1979, Cheryl was united Holy Matrimony to the late James M. Brightful, Sr and from this union they became the proud parents of two children, Tinika and James Jr. She received her education in the Baltimore City Public System in 1988, Cheryl became a Certified Nursing Assistant and held various positions in the medical field , gracing her patients with her tender touch. Later she was employed for thirteen years at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and was recently employed at Riverview Nursing Facility. In her lifetime she's made countless friends, her time here has been short , but sweet, but the memories are everlasting. To know her was to love her . A beautiful , infectious spirit , Cheryl had a gift to profoudly impact the hearts of those she knew . Cheryl accepted Christ into her life and was a member of Mt Pleasant Church and Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Clifford M. Johnson where she was baptized. Cheryl enjoyed life and valued special moments with family and friends. Her selfless acts have left a legacy only fit for Angel If you were in need , she was indeed, a Blazing personality, that could outshine any star, Cheryl was truly amazing. She was known and praised for delicious cooking, and it was always her pleasure to fill the bellies of those who were blessed with soul food. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving mother, Marceline Pettit; father Melvin Williams; stepfather Edward Pettit; darling daughter, Tinika M. Brightful; courageous son James M. Brightful, Jr; precious grandchildren, Tynairra N. Brown and Jordan M. Brightful; two stepsisters, Joann Pettiand Theresa Taylor; grandfather , Norman Whitby , Sr (grandmother, Delia Whitby preceded her in death); aunts and uncles, Norman Whitby, Jr; Clarence Whitby, Betty Puckett, Thomas Whitby, DarnellHarper, Brenda and Charles Pryor, Beatrice and Tony Chapman; brothers and sisters-in-law William , Margaret , Karen and Darryl Brightful, (sister-in-law, Delania Pouncey preceded her in death); a devoted ; companion, Donald Green and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends,
