Overseer Carolyn Watson

Overseer Carolyn Watson, also known as ( Bey) daughter of the late Pigese and Evangelist Tina Shaw. She entered the realm of death on May 3. 2023. Overseer was born April 15, 1933, in Greenville South Carolina. she moved to Baltimore where her spiritual journey began at Apostolic Faith Church of Jesus Christ international. Bey received the Holy Ghost at an early age , and loved praising the lord. She received her education in Baltimore City Public Schools. After high school sh met the love of her life, the late Charles Watson Jr. They were married for over 50 years. Continuing her spiritual journey, she attended Baltimore School of the Bible College where she received her degree. Overseer worked and retired after 40 years from Edgewood Nursing Home, where she enjoyed working and caring for people. Bey joined Pentecostal Jerusalem Faith Hope and Charity Holiness Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Adams S. Keels. She became the director of the Choir and enjoyed blessing people through praise and worship. She was ordained by the late Bishop Keels to become Pastor Carolyn Watson. As Pastor Carolyn Watson she led her own congregation under the Pentecostal Jerusalem Faith Hope and Charity Holiness Church. Throughout her life she ministered and always preached the word of God. In her ministry she ordained many people and guided them on their spiritual journey,. Overseer loved her family dearly and if you knew her, you knew she loved her phone, you could call her at any time, and if you ask her Pastor how are you feeling today , she would reply " I'M HOLDIN ON". Overseer was proceeded in death by her parents Evangelist Tina Shaw and Pigese, her sons Raymond and Maurice Watson. her grandsons Paul and Brian McCray. She leaves to Cherish her children, Mary McCray , Elizabeth Watson, and Michael Fields, one God Son Bishop Jerry Gamble. Two son in laws, Paul McCray and Larry Fields. Five grandchildren, Keiosha Latonya, Maurice, Monique, and Tremaine. Ten Great Grandchildren, Laquanna, Daiquan, Shayna, Diege, Jayla, Harlie, Bryce, Jakai, and Kiyan. And a host of friends and family that loved her dearly.
