Carolyn Monee Zhang Jeter

CAROLYN MONEE' JETER , affectionately known as "Mo" was born August 26, 1971, to the late Joan Murray and the late Eddie Cherry in her beloved city of Baltimore. On Thursday January 11, 2024, Mo suddenly transitioned to her home, leaving us all brokenhearted and in disbelief. Carolyn received her formal education in the Baltimore City Public School System. She attended Job Corp to learn a trade and home in on skills to further her education. Monee loved people and was a loving caregiver, which prompted her decision to attend nursing school so that she could be certified to assist those in need. Carolyn wore several hats, and had many jobs, but her passion was entrepreneurship. She was known for her cooking and selling her dinners. She was proud of Ms. Mo's Soul Food her slogan was cooking with love, provides food for the soul. She had no problem marketing, selling, and delivering her dinners to anyone that was willing to support her, she would be excited for the support. Mo had this big beautiful infectious smile. She embodied unconditional love, strength of spirit, and unending generosity that could be seen in her care for others. She had a love for cooking, selling her dinners, and crocheting. Mo enjoyed making herself up, dressing up, and hanging with her family in friends. Her long lashes and signature gold with her big smile, will be missed. She valued helping those in need. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her children and grandchildren. In addition,her fervor for life and all its opportunities. She also provided home assistance for seniors. She was dedicated and hard-working. She accepted many with an open heart, and open arms, and she had an immense passion for her family. Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound, and it is gravely felt by her entire family, and countless others who loved her deeply in her wide network of community. She accepted everyone with an open heart and open arms. Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother Joan Murray, father, Eddie Cherry, brother Jerry Cheathem, mother-in-law, Anna Jeter, and father-in-law, Leroy Jeter, Sr. Carolyn is survived by her husband, James Kevin Jeter, six children, Marquia Carey, Angel Gibbs, William Perkins, Moriah Perkins, JoAnna Davis, N'osynt Daughtry; three bonus children, Ciera, Camri, and Miya Jeter, ten grandchildren, Marquis, Christian, Charleigh, Mckenzie, Jade, Amor, Faith and Munir Perkins, Ny'ilah Jeter; her siblings, Sherry, and Keytah Cooley "Dimples", seven sibling in-laws, Leroy, Jr. Bethel), Aaron, Warren (Lisa), Wanda, Allen, Steven (Grace), and Laurie Jeter. And a host of aunts, uncle, cousins, and dear friends.
