Bruce Kenneth Ward Sr.

Bruce Kenneth Ward, Sr, age 50, was born September 5, 1972 in Heathville, Virginia, He entered eternal rest on January 21, 2023, afte a lengthy illness. He was the son of the late Sarah Gertrude Ward and the late Franklin Michael Carter. Bruce was educated and graduated from the Baltimore City School System. Bruce was a dedicated worker for Thornhill properties for over 18 years, He was well respected and loved by those who worked very close to him. he was a diligent worker, loyal and dedicated to his job, One thing Bruce did , he always kept a job and his job loved him, Bruce;s partnership with Bernadine Harris formed a relationship and out of that relationship came his first born son, Quante Harris. He then later met and married the love of his life, Kimberley Wright Ward whom preceded him in death. From this union came his daughter Aaliyah Ward and Bruce K. Ward, Jr. Bruce his long time special friend and companion Latoya Crudup. Bruce was a big lovable teddy bear. He loved to joke and keep you laughing. Bruce was kind hearted and would do anything for anyone. His children were his pride and joys. He loved his children immensely. He was a firm believer in God and once was a church going man . He was known as the scrap king that always had that truck on the move with heavy metal. Where there was food there was Bruce and if he wasn't there someone was bringing him a plate. He was the life of the party at Thornhill Properties Christmas Parties. His co-workers waited for him to show up and get the party started. He will truly be missed. Preceded in death, mother Sarah Gertrude Barnes; father; Franklin M. Carter,Sr.; sister Naomi Elizabeth Barnes; wife; Kimberly Wright Ward. He is survived by honorary father Charles P. Barnes, three children, Quante Harris, Aaliyah Ward and Bruce K. Ward, Jr; one grandchild, three sisters; Yvonne Allen (Jay Hope), Lowanda Fallins, Sherwanda Holmes (Lloyd Holmes); one brother Ray Fallins, two aunts Gladys Ward and Joanne Carter; two uncles, Maurice Carter and Tony Carter; Loyal and devoted friends Latoya Crudup and Cathy King and a host of nieces, nephews, great nephews, great nieces, cousins family and friends.
