Brenda Patricia Williams

BRENDA PATRICIA WILLIAMS, daughter of the late Landres Smith and Esther V. Wagoner, was born July 26, 1941 in Baltimore, Maryland. She was called by her Heavenly Father on September 28, 2009 to come home.Brenda accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She received her religious training at Faith Baptist Church, where she served faithfully under the leadership of the late Dr. Simon Williamson. She always excelled in her Sunday school classes with pride. As an older teenager, she began fellowship at St. Francis Catholic Church on Caroline St. in East Baltimore.She received her education at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in East Baltimore. She also attended adult evening courses there. Brenda especially liked the sewing classes. She always dressed stylishly. She also liked to tinker with electronic gadgets. Brenda was united in holy wedlock to Myron Oliver Queen, her high school sweetheart. From this union four children were born, daughter Donna V. Queen, sons Roddrick V. Queen (preceded by death), Ellery V. Queen and Aaron V. Queen. Later, she was united in holy matrimony to Robert H. Williams on November 10, 1986. She was a devoted wife and loved her Rob-Boo (as she would affectionately call him). Brenda worked at Wyman Park and Union Memorial Hospitals. She made numerous friends while working as a dedicated telecommunications operator for twenty-eight years at Union Memorial Hospital, until her health deteriorated. Robert had been truly a God's Blessing as a loving caregiver and devoted husband to Brenda throughout her illness! In spite of Brenda's discomfort, she would always greet friends, relatives and visitors with a warm smile and would ask them, "How are you doing today", while waiting to hear their latest news.She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving husband, Robert Williams, Jr.; daughter, Donna Queen of Cumberland, Md.; two sons, Ellery V. Queen of Baltimore and Aaron Queen of Bronx, NY; sister, Daphne Carter of Baltimore; daughter-in-law, Tanya Queen; grandchildren, Janae, Avery, Morgan, Dominque, Chaz, Erin and Isaiah; three brothers-in-law, Frank Carter Sr., Paul Williams and Clinton Williams; three sisters-in-law, Petrola Brown, Peggie Wallen and Pat Williams. She also leaves to mourn several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family and friends. Brenda was a strong willed, independent woman. She was at peace, loved God and will truly be missed.
