Brenda E. Miles

The Master’s plan began for Brenda Elizabeth Miles in Baltimore, Maryland on February 28, 1947. She was the oldest girl of six children born to the late Robert Lee Franklin, Sr. and Mozella Elizabeth Franklin.The hourglass, with its sands of time, slowly but surely spilled its contents, and with the passing of the last grain on Tuesday, December 16, 2003, went the life of Brenda. Her loving parents, oldest brother Robert Lee Franklin, Jr. and devoted friend, John Griffin preceded her in death and awaited her arrival with open arms.Brenda met and married the late Edward Williams. From this blessed union came her first son, Kenyada (Chuy) Williams Sr. She later affectionately married Tony Alexander Miles. A happy occasion for over twenty years, her second precious son was born, Ellwood Alexander Miles.Brenda received Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at Colonial Baptist Church in Randallstown, Maryland. She was a true believer of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, faithfully serving his purpose here on earth.At the time of departure, Brenda was the Vibrant Assistant Manager at the Picture People in Owings Mills Mall for several years.At the time of departure, Brenda was the Vibrant Assistant Manager at the Picture People in Owings Mills Mall for several years. Brenda was a caring and loving person whose generosity was without measure. She was very well liked among her co-workers and customers. ForBrenda, the “Mom of Picture People,” as she was lovingly known, taking pictures wasn’t a job, it was a work of art. Her great skill of photography was acquired from her good friend “Bo.”Brenda was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend, as well as, a loving sister to her siblings. Brenda knew how to brighten any day. Her radiant smile and soothing disposition made even a bad day seem better to others. Her greatest pleasure was caring for her family and Aunt Lucy. Nothing was off limits to please anyone who was in her presence. A virtuous Woman was Brenda, who was known for her many talents as a seamstress, photographer, floral designer, gourmet cook and infamous cheesecakes. Brenda’s favorite hobby was collecting her most precious Betty Boop and Barbie dolls.Brenda leaves to cherish her loving memory: two sons, Kenyada “Chuy” Jr., India Jasmine, Chulena, Montana, Christian, Miles and Zion. Three sisters, Gwendolyn Ademiluyi, Linda Wood, and Mozella Sampson, one brother, James Franklin, her sister-in-laws, Carolyn and Yvonne, devoted friends, LoMak, Margie Wilson, Nancy Goodwin, Brenda Simpson and Alvin McAuthur, nieces, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and a host of other relatives, extended family and dear friends.
