BRADRICK POOL, affectionately known as “Brad,” was born on September 4, 1962, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late John Pool and Stella Mae Garvin. He departed this life on February 15, 2026. Brad attended Lake Clifton High School in the Baltimore City Public School System. He received his Maryland High School Diploma in 1980. Brad had gifted hands and worked various jobs throughout his life. Brad attended All State Career School where he mastered carpentry and masonry. Whether he was repairing a beloved family home, building or crafting things from scratch, Brad possessed a rare skill with touch. Not only did he have the skill, he impacted many lives by teaching the skill. His hands were never still, constantly working to create beauty and stability for his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy built with dedication, precision and love for his family. To know Brad is to know he possessed the skill not only to build, but also to cook. Brad was a wonderful cook and baker, always serving his family with great meals and desserts from scratch. He never met a challenge or argument he couldn’t win. He was always ready to kick some butt and never hesitated to teach his family how to defend themselves as well. He is preceded in death by his wife Carletta, two brothers Joseph and Jerome Garvin, beloved sister Deborah Spence, and two nephews Voncelle Blackwell Jr. and Anthony Griffin Jr. Brad leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters, Crenese and Tanika; son-in-law, Aundrey; four bonus daughters, Iris, Charrard, Sherice and Tania; two brothers, Mike and Darnell; brother-in-law, Andrew; two sisters, Renee and Jeanette; sister-in-law, Sherrie; eight grandsons, Quante, CeQuan, Pierce, Peyton, Khaley, Shawn Jr, Little Aundrey and Konnor; five granddaughters, Ajah, Amya, Tiena, Tyaja and Irieana; great-grandson, Karsyn; great-granddaughter, Luna anda 2nd great-granddaughter coming in May 2026. mother-in-law, Francine; nieces and nephews, Chanise, Angel, Ikeyshia, Nikki, Shekey, Michael Jr., Shanetra, Jerry, Sheresse, Kenneth, Kevin, Daniel and Tabitha; special cousin, Pretlow; two forever friends, Genese and
