Bobby Wayne Bostick

Bobby Wayne Bostick (Bob-Kat) was born August 19, 1971, in Brooklyn, NY. Bobby was the first child born to Maggie Bostick and Garland Chambers. Bobby found Jesus Christ as his personal Savior after relocating to North Carolina in 1995. Bobby was a very outgoing person and loved his wife dearly. Bobby joined Bright Hopewell Baptist Church in the mid 90's and became close to the pastor, Reverend Garland Pierce. Bobby later joined Southern Grove Missionary Baptist Church "Holy Ghost Headquarters" under the leadership of Rev. David Patterson, who Bobby traveled with faithfully and first Lady Elizabeth Patterson to near and far revivals. Bobby and his wife relocated to Durham and later joined The River where the senior pastor was Sheryl Brady and afterwards the pastor became Pastor Ronald Godbee. In 2014, Bobby and Step moved to New Jersey and immediately started visiting Love Fellowship Church in Brooklyn, NY, where the pastor is Hezekiah Walker. After departing from New Jersey Bobby continued building his faith and wanting more of God. Bobby and his wife relocated to Richmond, VA and started visiting United Nations Church International under leadership of both Bishop Orrin Pullings and Dr. Medina Pullings, co-pastor. Bobby loved the Pullings style and spoke highly of his Co-Pastor to the point of putting her picture on his phone as the wallpaper. Bobby came to NC and joined in with his wife Stephanie rearing several children in and around the community. Bobby was a role model for many. Bobby shared with his wife several god-children and spent time with all of them. Bobby devoted his time faithfully to a youth choir entitled Youth Ministries on Urban Inspiration, YMUI. YMUI was a ministry founded by his nephew, Pastor Darrell Gibson Jr. Bobby supported his wife as God used her writing, music and directing many choirs. Bobby was a joyous soul, full of life, authentic to all, spiritual endowed, outgoing and lovable person. He was his wife's number one cheerleader. Bobby touched the heart of many and loved hard. Everyone who met him loved on him. He loved life and he lived every day like it was his last making preparation. Bobby's motto was: Don't worry about me because I'll be alright." On December 16, 2017, God called Bobby home where he could spend his last and final hours with his loving and devoted wife, Stephanie Bostick. She will forever love him through their shared memories. Bobby's undying love shall forever live in his soulmates. Step's heart and in her dreams. Bobby leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Stephanie Bostick; both parents, Maggie Bostick of Brooklyn, NY and Garland Chambers (Eleanor) of Georgia (who will forever remember him as their Lil' Man); his three daughters, Keshatea Bradley, Raven Bostick and Ryna Bostick; two granddaughters, Armani and Khiana (all from Brooklyn, NY),; his adopted daughter, Evalee Roscia Williams of Richmond, VA; two siblings, Rieley Cheron Bostick of Brooklyn and Jaiden McCoy of Georgia; his grandfather, Horace Bostick (In Loving Memory Mary Bostick) of Brooklyn NY; one uncle, Harvey (Lisa) of Brooklyn, NY; three aunts, Aunt Debra (George) Keys of Pennsylvania, Aunt Ella Mae (Bill) Clark and Aunt Dollie Mallory (both of Laurinburg, NC). His fondest memories are left also with his parent-in-laws, Wayne and Katie Gibson; five brother-in-laws, Darrell (Sharon) Gibson, Cedrick Gibson, Santwone Gibson, all of Laurinburg, NC. Ronald Gibson (Leslie) of Durham, NC, Reggie Gibosn (Jamille) of Rocky Mount; and one sister-in-law, Candice Manning. Bobby had an unlimited heart of gold and extended it by often loving on his favorite Spiritual Mothers, Yvonne Wright Cephas, Barbara Jones, Dorothy Easley, Elder Ruby Wade-Shephard, Mother Cheryl Carpenter and Mother Yvonne Brown all of UNCI in Richmond, VA. Bobby shared his love with a host of God-children, Kinesia Harris (Crunch), Tyesha Washington, Jada Easterling, Decausha McLean, Sarah Edgerton, Porsha McLeod, Sharday and Jazzmaine McRae, Meyanda McRae, Shanylla Wilford (all of North Carolina) and Roscia Williams of Richmond, Virginia. Oftentimes there were few individuals who were able to bring a smile or laughter to Bobby's heart; his four cousins, Kim Clark, Barbara Clark, Kathy Clark, Debbie Saunders, and his home pastor, Rev. Garland Pierce. Precious memories will be left with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and numerous other relatives and friends. Bobby was the godfather of many and served as a father figure to countless others. Bobby was an irreplaceable gift, who was a fighter and survivor of juvenile diabetes, a conquer or who walked although an amputee, although physically blind possessed more spiritual sight than most beings with sight, a bold soldier that choose to love in spite of all hate. Bobby lived a life of joy and happiness and daily expressed praise to his Creator, the Almighty God. Bobby never allowed his sickness to dictate his future plans, Understanding his favorite words "May the work, I've done speak for me". Bobby grew to live a life of joy and happiness. Bobby had a testimony and shared it every opportune moment. Yes, Bobby believed & lived a rich life of love and legacy.
