Mrs. Beverly Diane Anderson

Legacy of Love Beverly Diane Anderson, transitioned to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 30, 2022. Born on September 3, 1955 in Richmond, VA, to the late Linwood Sims and Fannie Taylor Sims. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Willis Sims and Timothy Sims. Following graduation from Ladysmith High School, Beverly attended J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College in Richmond, VA, where she studied Business Administration. She was employed by Phillip Morris as an operator for 30 years and retired in 2010. In 1997, while working at Phillip Morris, Beverly decided to start her own business, Best Image Quality Home Cleaning. Her legacy continues through her family-owned and operated cleaning company that is still servicing the community. Beverly loved a good time. Some of our fondest memories are poolside parties, with a live band (Johnny Houston) where she would holler out special song requests and dance and laugh the night away. She was known for her laughter, sense of humor and loving spirit. Beverly was a provider, she sacrificed everything for her family. She was extremely driven. Whatever she set her mind to, she achieved. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and it was demonstrated by her enthusiasm, countless facetime calls, endless gifts that are still being delivered after her transition. Beverly accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Jericho Baptist Church in Caroline County. She was unapologetic about her strong faith, which became the cornerstone for her entire family. Cherishing her memory are: her devoted and loving husband of 40 years, Stewart L. Anderson Sr.; two daughters, Jamie Sims and Raven Sims; one son, Stewart Anderson Jr.; three grandchildren, Avery Akbar, Amirah Akbar and Sterling Anderson; six sisters, Ruby Harris, Janet Jones (Lorenzo Jones), Christine Sims, Claudia Sims, Fannie Harris (Richard Harris), Shirley Weatherspoon (Gary Weatherspoon); three brothers, Charles Sims (Yvonne Sims), Robert Sims (Jean Sims), John Sims (Sharon Sims); brother-in-law, Charles Anderson; one aunt, Zessie Carter; special niece, Tameka Sims, followed by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
