Beatrice Mary Hinton

Beatrice M. Hinton, daughter of the late Tom and Mertie Hinton, was born on August 19, 1933 and departed this life on July 23, 2003.She was born and educated in Johnston County, North Carolina where she lived until moving to Baltimore, Maryland in November 1950. Upon settling in Maryland, she met and married the late Howard Bieard and had seven children, preceding her in death, the late Carlivelt Sr., Nina G. Jobes, Leroy, Shelia Ann, Mark and Frederick.She began her life in Baltimore, educating herself in the Nursing and Childcare fields. She became a licensed Childcare provider in 1970 and continued as a Daycare provider for many years thereafter. While completing her endeavors, she united her life in Christ by joining the Shiloh Apostolic Temple Church under the leadership of the late Bishop Robert O. Daub. Her journey with Christ continued with several church organizations and she became a licensed Minister in 1968, an Ordained Minister in 1970, which continued her into becoming the Mother of her own church, Shiloh Apostolic Faith Church, where she ministered for eleven years before pursuing her ministries as a traveling Evangelist and Chaplain of The Eastern Star North Lodge #34 from 1985-1991. Her life’s accomplishments as a Minister took her to many places where she preached across the world including such places as Brisford, The Holy Land, England, and Africa, while still ministering and educating the Word of Jesus Christ to all she encountered.She leaves some of her favorite biblical passages and quotes such as “May the work I’ve done lead me to the Rock” and Psalms 27, 70, 35 and Romans 12, leading her to her calling home from the Lord.She leaves her cherished memories with: her sister, Nina Cooley of North Carolina; three children, Mertie J., Jerome and Maude Turnage all of Baltimore, Maryland; seven grandchildren, Shelia Ann Lovelace, Calivelt Jr., Lisa, Shawn, Tavon, Christine and Shaquetta; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-aunt Ella Hinton; with giving Special Memories to her nieces, Marguerite and Diane; a host of nieces, great-nieces, great-great nieces, nephews, great-nephews, great-great-nephews, many other family members, friends, and loved ones.
