Antonio Avon Warrington

ANTONIO AVON WARRINGTON was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 20th, 1979 to Adrian Warrington, Sr. and the late Yvette Cynthia Warrington. His life was taken unexpectedly on November 13th, 2022. Antonio, better known as “Tony”, was educated in the Baltimore City School System attending Carver High School. Tony was the fifth eldest of ten siblings and went on to Father two sons of his own. Tony, as a young boy, was taught to be a Carpenter by trade by his father. As he grew up, Tony enjoyed sports, dancing, eating, dressing, construction, working on cars, and the ladies. By far, his number one joy was Family. When around family, you knew when Tony was in the room. His presence demanded your attention because Tony always had a story to tell with laughter to follow throughout. Tony could re-enact any event that would leave us all in tears from laughter. His love for his family was always genuine with a “No Tolerance” mentality. If anyone bothered or messed with anyone he loved, he was on the case. Though small in stature, he was strong. Tony was fearless and if he was scared, we never knew. Tony also took pride in his appearance. If Tony was to be present, he was going to show up and show out. Tony was real and told it just how it was. If ever you needed to know anything, go to Tony, he knew. Despite many hardships, trials and tribulations, Tony fought to do what he had to do. Regardless of his struggles, nothing made him happier than his sons. When Tony found out he was going to be a father, it was all the motivation he needed to get on track to the best of his ability. Tony admired his sons and didn’t leave their side. He did all he could and if you saw Tony you saw his son with him. Tony adored all his nieces and nephews as well. Everyone knew Uncle Tony. Tony was well known and loved by his family as a whole. If ever you needed anything, Tony was going to do it. Even if he didn’t know how he was going to find out. Tony helped all those around him and was always willing to listen. Even at his worst, Tony always set his issues to the side to check on family to give words of encouragement. He never needed a reason, he just did it because that’s who he was. A protector, a confidant, a best friend. Tony was raised in the truth by parents who were Jehovah’s Witnesses and even though he didn’t dedicate his life through baptism, he understood the reason behind it and the protection it served. So even in death, Tony knew that should anything happen he has the promise in the resurrection hope and to be in Jehovah’s memory. John 5:28, “Do not be amazed by this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out…” Tony will truly be missed. Tony leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, A’vion and Atari; his father, Adrian Sr; four brothers, Adrian Jr, Azzan (Sonny), Asa Sr., and Andre; four sisters, Kia, April, Ava, and Ariana (Air); seven nephews, Azzan, Asa Jr., Emerie, Amad, Aaron, Tyreke, and Mico; nine nieces, Sanier, Azziah, Aniya, Asaria, Avrie, Lania (Badd Badd), Abrina, Mariah, and Malaysia; as well as aunts, uncles, a host of cousins, and friends.
