Antonio Mosby

Antonio “Tony” Mosby, loving known as “Superman” by his youngest daughter, Tia, peacefully transitioned on July 20, 2026, at 11:12 p.m. Born in Baltimore, to the late Emmett and Dora Mosby, Tony lived a life centered on family, love, laughter, and creating lasting memories. His warm spirit, infectious smile, and ability to bring people together made him someone who was loved by all who knew him. Tony was educated in the Baltimore City and North Carolina public school systems. Throughout his career, he worked diligently as a truck driver and machine operator, earning the respect of those who worked alongside him through his strong work ethic and dedication. Above all, Tony cherished his family. He found his greatest joy in gathering with loved ones, enjoying good music, sharing delicious meals, and making every moment count with his treasured grandchildren. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and unforgettable memories to those fortunate enough to know him. Tony shared a loving marriage with his devoted wife, Mia Mosby. Together, they created a life filled with love, laughter, and simple pleasures. Whether they were listening to their favorite music or cooking together on the grill, they found happiness in each other’s company and built a lifetime of cherished memories. Tony’s legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. Though he will be deeply missed, his memory will continue to inspire and bring comfort o those whose lives he touched. Tony was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Emmett and Dora Mosby; his sister, Vivian Mosby; his brother, Michael Mosby; and his cherished cousin and lifelong best friend, Ronald ”Dee”. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will be forever treasured by his devoted wife of 25 years, Mia Mosby; his five children, Antoinette Pierce (Allan), Antonio Mosby (Tyne), undisputed favorite child Quytia Mosby (Barrcell), Arjah Evans, and Jaismane Evans. He was a proud and loving grandfather to 20 grandchildren: Amiya, Ariana, Aliya, Alaina, Cassius, Nova, Alexis, Joshua, Allen, Evan, Shymia, Jahmia, Barrcell Jr., Marquese, Amar, Jamar “Poppa,” Mahogani, Jeremiah “Cinco,” Melanie, and Mykell. He was also blessed with one great-grandchild, Harmoni, who brought him immense joy. Tony is also survived by his brothers, Joe Mosby and Todd Mosby; his sister, Darlene (Lisa) Artis; his best friend and cousin Ronald Dee Mouzon; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
