Antonio C. Davis

Antonio C. Davis was born on July 15, 1964 to the late Mary Elizabeth and Harold Davis at Lynchburg General Hospital in Brookneal, VA. At the age of 6 years old, he accepted Christ and was baptized at Hat Creek Baptist Church under Rev. John West. Antonio was raised by his grandmother, the late Edna Robertson in Brookneal, VA where he attended Fallen River Elementary School in VA until her passing in 1976. Antonio moved the late Joseph L. Robertson, where he would also enjoy spending time with his brothers Alexander Jr. & William Boone and his 2 cousins whom he loved dearly like sister; Angela Elmore & Plicia Robertson. Antonio, also known as Tony, attended Fall Staff Middle School and Northwestern Senior High. Tony's uncle Joe believed that everyone in his household must serve the Lord, so he became very active in church in singing on the intermediate choir at Maranatha Memorial Baptist Church, Pastor the late Earnest L. Ross. Tony would often imitate his father singing (the late Harold Davis of the Dynamic Melody Aires). Antonio worked in the Intake Department for a Homeless Shelter as the person who would sign up Homeless men and provide them with food and shelter. Antonio met and married Ms. Veronica Boone in September 2006, at the New Fellowship Christian Life Center and the couple would then relocate to Concord, NC. Antonio enjoyed fatherhood, raising 3 children along with his wife, 2 girls and 1 boy. Shanta Shannon, Aniyah Robinson, & Jirah Robinson all of Concord, NC. While in North Carolina, he worked 2 jobs as a maintenance man at the Greens of Concord Apartments & the Concord Chase Apartments in North Carolina for ten years. In 2015, after the passing of his mother Mary Elizabeth Boone, Tony decided to come back home where it all started and live with his Aunt Carol whom he loved dearly. He would attend church with her on a regular basis, which then led him to become a faithful member of First Charity Baptist Church (Pastor Hollis C. Neal). He leaves to mourn 3 children, Shanta Shannon, Aniyah Robinson, & Jirah Robinson all of Concord, NC. Special grandmother, Virtie Easley of Beckley, WV. (2) brothers, Alexander Boone Jr. (Kimberly) & William Boone of Baltimore, MD. (2) cousins he loved like sisters, Angela Elmore (Shermaine) & Plicia Robertson of Baltimore, MD. 5 (Aunts); Carol A. Robertson of Baltimore, MD, Gladys Robertson and Darlene Adams both of Norfolk, VA; Dorthy Ross, Helen Womack of Baltimore; Nannie Jackson (Carl). (5) Uncles; Jasper Robertson (Yolanda) of Memphis, TN, Jackie Robertson of Roanoke, VA, Kenny Davis (Amelia), Charles West of Baltimore, MD, Hugh Acree of Nathalie, VA (2) VA, (1) Great Uncle; George Payne of Brooklyn, NY and a devoted friend, Deidra Harris of Baltimore, MD, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
