Anthony Williams

WINTER Anthony Williams affectionately known to his family and friends as “Brother and Tony”. His life began in Baltimore on September 18, 1948. Anthony, the son of the late Ivory Leroy Williams and Alice Marie Williams, Was an inquisitive, intelligent, adventuresome, and compassionate child. These same characteristics made him the loving family man and friend we celebrate today. SPRING Anthony received his education at Fairmount Hill, and on May 3, 1968 he entered the United States Army. While in the Army, he proudly became a Paratrooper, a Marksman with the M-14 and an expert on the M-16. He continued to receive Medals of Honorable discharge. SUMMER Brother was what we considered a highly skilled person. He was employed with Maryland Drydock as a welder, Levinson & Klein and Gamse Lithographics in management. Brother’s remarkable personality and charisma was never overshadowed by his ability to wok had and play hard. He had a passion for helping others. His nurturing spirit went far beyond people, it was demonstrated in his garden and animals. He loved his collection of aquariums. He enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and reading. One of his favorite activities was watching western movies. He loved gathering with his family and friends having big laughs and eating all his favorite foods. He received Christ as his Lord and Savior at the Community Church of Christ. FALL Brother departed us physically on January 27, 2012. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; daughter, Kimberly; his sister, Teresa Thomas; and grandson, Erik. His legacy will continue to be celebrated by his loving children Timothy, Anthony, Chantelle, Ivory and Erika; daughter-in-law, Kara; son-in-law, Keith; seven grandsons, Tamal, Antoine, Anthony, DeAngelo, Justin, Deonte, Ivory; eight granddaughters, LaShawn, Rhemi, Kenniya, Courtney, Diamond, Timera, Timeka and Anthia; one great granddaughter, Mhylah; he leaves to cherish two brothers, Ivy and Michael Williams; one sister, Priscilla; one brother-in-law, Michael Abney; one sister-in-law, Janine; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many more friends.
