Annette Little

ANNETTE LITTLE, loving and adored mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend was born on September 13, 1943. She departed this life very quietly on the evening of Thursday, October 7, 2010. Now absent from the body and present with the Lord, Annette has journeyed home to join her parents, the late Maggie and Hormon Perry. Annette grew up and received her education in Raleigh, North Carolina. She accepted Christ at an early age and loved the Lord. Often times, she shared her commitment to the Lord with her grandchildren. She was a former employee at various branches of Bank of America and enjoyed working evening shifts when her health permitted. Annette met and married the Late Hebrew Little Greensboro, North Carolina and later relocated to the Baltimore Metropolitan area to further her life. From this union three beautiful children were born. She was a wonderful mother to her sons and loved each of them dearly. Annette was an independent and reserved woman with a contagious smile; to know her was to love her. She loved her life and showed her jovial spirit everywhere she went. Spending time with family, cooking, dining out, watching movies, driving friends to the store and collecting knick knacks were just a few of her passions. Most of all, traveling to her hometown was an absolute joy to Annette and she often spoke of a strong desire to move back to the Carolina’s. She was truly a devoted family person and would go out of her way to make her children and grandchildren, happy. She was so much so a part of her children and grandchildren’s lives that their friends became her extended family calling her Mom and Grandma Annette. Annette also took pride in everything she did and was truly loved by her family. Annette leaves a loving and devoted family to exalt and cherish her memory: three loving an devoted sons, F. Jerome, Nelson and Donyell Little; devoted stepson, Eddie McDowell (Yonkers, New York); thirteen cherished grandchildren, Khrystle, Kayla, Kharae’, Omar, Stanley, Kierra, Demetrius, Tierra, Fat Fat, Muhdy, Chaz, Christopher and Crystal; three cherished great-grandchildren, five beloved brothers, MacArthur, James, Purnell and Lonnie Perry (Ann) and Joh W. (North Carolina);beloved sister, Estelle C. (North Carolina); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.
