Angela C. Sherrill

On June 20, 2025, ANGELA CHRISTINE SHERRILL, aged 71, quietly left this world at peace while at Sinai Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. A devoted partner, cherished daughter, beloved sister, caring aunt, and steadfast friend, Angela’s life was a vibrant tapestry woven with passion,laughter, and unyielding affection for those she held dear. Her spirit was indomitable, reflected not only in her personal relationships but also in her unwavering loyalty as an ardent Baltimore Ravens fan, proudly rallying behind her team through every triumph and defeat. Born on January 8, 1954 to the devoted Mary and Andrew Sherrill Sr.,she was the third youngest of ten children in a bustling family. With determination and resilience, Angela graduated from Northwestern High School and embraced the challenges of young motherhood, striving for a brighter future for herself and her family. Angela devoted nearly four decades to the Maryland State Department of Social Services, where her passion for helping others truly stood out. During her time with the Department, she quickly established herself as a recognized professional, earning numerous awards and accolades. Her tireless commitment to serving the community was matched only by her abundant love and kindness, qualities she treasured and maintained throughout her life until her final days. Angela leaves behind her beloved partner, Dorian Sterrette, with whom she shared over thirty years, and her three cherished children: her eldest son, Kevin, and her spirited twins, Andre and Anthony. The family tree flourishes further with the presence of nine adoring grandchildren: Kevin, Tre, Sareke, Anthony Jr., Marquell, Tara, DeAndre, Precious and Deserae, along with fifteen great-grandchildren who now span the states of Alaska, Texas, Hawaii, North Carolina and Maryland. While Angela’s journey has seen her outlive several siblings – Catherine Johnson, Andrew Jr. Sherrill, Leon Sherrill, Reginald Sherrill, Richard Sherrill, and Michael Sherrill Sr. – she is survived by her three remaining siblings: Virginia Lyles and her husband Ralph, Rodney Sherrill and his wife Jackie, and Deborah Sherrill Together, they carry forward the memories and legacy of a remarkable woman.
