Andre J. Simms

Andre Jermaine Simms lovingly known as “Booda”, job was at was born on June 20, 199, at Johns Hopkins, in Baltimore, Maryland to Charmaine Simms and Gregory Butler, Jr. Andre graduated from Chesapeake High School in Essex, Maryland. He worked as numerous jobs throughout his life in many different fields. His most recent job was at Kohl’s warehouse as a Forklift Driver. Andre was a fun, loving, outgoing and sociable young man. Not to mention he was “LADIES MAN” His smile would light up any room he walked into. He was loved and respected by everyone who knew him. Booda enjoyed basketball, wrestling, music, moves, partying, shopping, and especially eating good food from his grandmother Danette. He also loved spending time his children, family, friends, and especially his close friends known as “ The Brothers”. He also shared a very special relationship with his Danielle that he grew up with. Danielle was more like a sister to him, growing up they were inseparable. Andre was preceded in death by his grandmother Odella Butler; great-grandmothers, Gertrude Dille Boothe-Fields, and Romelia Johnson; his grandfathers, Gregory Butler, Sr., Leroy Burley, Richmond McWilliams, his uncle Daniel Caraway, Sr. and his son Jace Simms. Booda will remembered as a caring, generous and loving person who treated you with kindness and respect. He will was willing to help others in need. He cared deeply about mother and grandmother always having their best interest at heart. Loving Booda and cherishing his memories are: his mother Charmaine Simms father Gregory Butler, Jr.; grandmother, Yolanda D. Simms-Nealy; Sisters, Andrea Evans and Melani Butler brother, David Wheeler; aunts, Danielle nealy, Tara Robinson, Chantrell Burley, Darlene Hamilton, Connie Eldridge; uncles; Darrell Johnson, Jay Hicks, Jerome Burley; sons Andre J. Simms, Jr. (Leko McWilliams), Journee Scott (Loudon Alyssia), Brenda Simms (Brittany Robinson), Britte’N. Simms (Brittany Robinson), daughters, A’mesh Simms (Jaquell Allen) and Amiah Simms (Alisha Still);A host of other relatives and friends, especially his forever friends “The Brovas and his girlfriend Alisha Still. While we mourn the passing of Andre “booda” Simms his memory will live on in our hearts forever. May God Bless the memory of Booda and may his soul Rest in Peace.
