Alice B. Ali

On October 19, 2019, God in His infinite wisdom called His faithful servant Alice B. Ali home to eternal peace. Alice was the only daughter of the late Alice Arnette Kirby and Howard Kirby. Alice was born on December 27, 1934. She was educated in Baltimore City Public Schools. At an early age, she had a passion for fashion and design. She collected fabric and would constantly discuss with her grandchildren her dreams of one day being a fashion designer. Despite her dream, she did what was necessary to raise her family. She later chose a career as a Paralegal Assistant. Alice was affectionately known as “Honey” by her grandchildren. Alice always saw the bright side of life and would help anyone in need offering food, shelter, clothing and most importantly, love. She had a great sense of humor and always made everyone laugh. Alice had three brothers who preceded her in death: a twin brother, Howard Benjamin Kirby Jr., William Kirby and Roscoe Kirby. Alice was also proceeded in death by her son, Bruce Walker. She leaves many loved ones to cherish her memory. Alice is survived by her children: Alice McCray, Keith Walker, Mark Walker, Crystal Lewis, Ezra Walker, Linwood Walker and Monique McCracken. Alice is also survived by a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great Great Grandchildren. Alice will be deeply missed by her friends and family. Her loved ones will always remember her love for Christ. Alice’s spirit will continue to live on with her loved ones and her memory will never leave our hearts and minds. She was truly one of a kind.
