Albert Thomas

Albert Thomas, III was born in Baltimore, Maryland to Sabrina Taylor and Albert Thomas, II. Albert was deeply loved by his mother who fondly called him “Abbey.” They had a special relationship and whenever together, you could see the love they shared for each other. At an early age, Albert went to live with his extended parents, Cynthia and John Bivens, III and grandparents, Elsie and John Bivens, II. Albert attended Deer Park Elementary School where he excelled as a drummer in the band. He attended Deer Park Middle School and graduated from Randallstown High School in June 2000. While at Randallstown, he was a member of the ROTC. Albert was an avid member of the Deer Park Recreation Council basketball team. Prior to becoming a team member, he would always help at the concession stand and help the coach with the equipment. Albert had a quiet, peaceful spirit and was always willing to lend a hand whenever needed. In 1992, at the age of ten, Albert joined and was baptized at New Antioch Baptist Church of Randallstown. He was a member of the basketball ministry and diligently served as devotional leader on many youth Sundays. He participated in many of the youth activities including” Lock Out,” bowling, Six Flags outings, church picnics and Christian fellowships. Because of his spiritual growth and involvement here at the church and because of the love and devotion given to him by the Bivens family, he was able to overcome many challenges and obstacles he faced during his lifetime. Albert was warm, friendly and always had a smile. The love he had for family and friends was beyond measure. He loved people and people loved him. Mourning his untimely passing is his mother, Sabrina Taylor; father, Albert Thomas, II; aunt, Linda Green; cousin, Cory Butler; extended parents, John and Elsie Bivens, II and Cynthia and John Bivens, III; brothers, Jovan and John Bivens, IV; sisters, Nikkia Bivens and Chantel Bratcher; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.“ And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death,neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain”
