Albert was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Albert E. Richardson and Robert H. Pollard; and his grandmother, Barbara B. Richardson.A TIME TO REBIRTHAt the age of 2, he was christened by Bishop John W. Pernell in the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ. In 1975, Albert was 11 years old, he accepted Christ and was baptized.A TIME TO SUCCEEDAlbert attended Richmond Public School system and graduated from John Marshall High School. He furthered his education by attending Livingston College in North Carolina and NorfolkState University.A TIME TO LOVEAlbert was united in holy matrimony to Miriam Irving on July 23, 1988. God blessed Albert with three beautiful children, Delainie, Sean, and Bryan. He loved his mother, grandmother,brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and other family members. He was very family oriented.A TIME TO LIVE AND SERVEAlbert served his community with love for football. He volunteered his time coaching local organizations and mentoring young men. He encouraged them to further their education. He alsoassisted them with various college placements. He was a member of the Woodville Lodge No. 8, serving as aCompanion/Sir Knight, and Educational Instructor and also advanced to the Royal Arch and Knights Templar. Edwards; step-father, Roosevelt Edwards; siblings, Minister Ernest Richardson (Tracy), Apostle MarvinRichardson (LaTonia), Phenice Boykins (Melvin), and Tamara Spencer; grandmother, Gladys M. Pollard; in-laws, Mr. & Mrs.Robert Irving; four great aunts, Marie Foster (James) of Henderson, NC, Dorothy Harris of Chesterfield, Viola Moore, and Julia McPherson of King William County; 5 nieces, 7 nephews, a host of cousins and friends.
