Victoria Mae Hansley

Mother Victoria M. Hansley, daughter of the late Linwood L. Stokes and Mattie Stokes was born on August 21st, 1943 in Blackstone, Virginia. She departed her life on January 2nd ,2013 after a short illness. Mother Victoria attended the public education system in Virginia as well as Baltimore, Maryland from grades K-12, Mother Victoria had many jobs within her lifetime one of which was Baltimore City Housing Authority serving 27 years starting as a monitor ending as supervisor and retiring , Then she further her education at Coppin State University to study criminal Justine and Nursing which was a dream come true. She also because a license daycare provider which was her life long story raising up her own as well as others. “Momma, Mrs. Momma” She was raised in a strong Christian faith . She joined the Supreme Council of the House of Jacob in 1959 and was baptized and received the Holy Ghost at an early age. She met and married Brother Gordon E. Hansley on January 20th . 1960 Out of this union six children were born Sheila, Hezekiah, Mary, Yolanda, Gordon, Jr. Joyce, Mother Victoria made numerous friends where ever she went and will be sincerely missed by everyone who knows her . She was always a devoted wife loving mother, and a true friend. To know her was to love her. She leaves to mourn: Her Husband Brother Gordon E. Hansley, Sr. 4 daughters Elds. Sheila Heggs, Mary Hansley, Yolanda Hansley-McCoy, Joyce Hansley, 2 sons Hezekiah Hansley, Brother Gordon Hansley, Jr 2 son-in-law: Pres Elder Mark Heggs, Todd McCoy, 1 daughter - in - law: Lavern Hansley, 1 sister, Marie Dennis, 1 brother: Ronnie L. Stokes (pd) 6 brothers-in-law: Harry Dennis, Amous, Paul, Walter, Mark, Nathaniel Hansley , 3 sister -in-law Sheila Hansley Sister Mary walker, Justine Hatcher, 16 grandchildren, Shakeira Jenard, Gordon III, Jalia ( pd). T'Erika, Nigel Kenneth, Jalen, Nyla, Noel Tavian and Noah, 20 great grandchildren, her hearts Tabi'yha and Torrez, 1 Godson: Godson Deac John Harris, 2 goddaughters, Deacs Darlene Felder, and Ann Willet, Best friend. Gwen Harris, Yolanda Hansley McCoy, oldest friend : Elds Florence Jones 3 adoptive sons Officer Jerry McCleran, officer James Tolson and officer Bruce Wallace and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, family, friends, and the love ones that proceeded in death,
