RYAN JAMAAL TEEL was born to Cara Coley and Alton R. Teel Jr., April 6, 1983 at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. God saw fit to call Ryan home on Monday, August 14, 2006.Ryan, “Flexx” as he was affectionately called by his family and friends. Ryan was baptized at an early age at Pleasant Hope Baptist Church. He attended Baltimore City Public Schools and was a graduate of Frederick Douglass Senior High School class of 2001. He was employed by Frankel Acura for several years. Ryan, was the oldest of four children. He had a love for sports especially basketball. His favorite team was the Lakers and Shaquille O’Neal was his favorite player. He enjoyed sitting, talking and joking with his family and many friends on Ilchester Avenue. Ryan was extremely close to his siblings and uncles, David, Rajah Jr., and Marlon. They spent countless time collecting and trading basketball cards, playing video games, listening to rap music and discussing sports. Ryan touched many lives in his short life and was loved by all who came to know him. He had a special love and relationship with his grandmother Fannie Teel. He has gone to be those loved ones who preceded him in his earthly life. Those left to cherish the memories and celebration of his life are: mother, Cara Coley; father Alton R. Teel Jr.; step-father, William Jones Sr.; brother, William Jones Jr.,(Billy); sisters, Brittany, Bre’Shey, Janaee Jones and Sidney Gibbs; grandmothers Roberta Taylor and Vivian McNeil; grandfathers, Alton R. Teel Sr., Jerome Watkins and Rajah Gorham Sr.; special uncles/brothers, David Richardson, Rajah Jr, Marlon and Jermaine Gorham; aunts, Jacqueline Devillassee, Theresa Barber, Dolicia Coley, Annette Watkins, Sharon and Venus McNeil; uncles, Victor Barber, Thomas McNeil, Frank Jones, Kevin, John and Jerome Watkins; great-aunts and uncles, John Taylor, Wallace Dodd (Alameda), Thomas Deans, Darlene Johnson, Linda (John) Haskins, Kimberleigh (Ralph) Kornegay, Teresa and Peggy miles, Linda Davies and Therman (Rose); godparents, Kimberleigh and Ralph Kornegay, Yvette Boyce and Christopher Dodd. A very special girlfriend and his love Barbara Vance (expecting) congratulations. Godchildren, Kya, Zyniya, RaKerra, Kenyon and Rajahi; his best friends to the end: Robert (Wooga), Dwan, Tavon (Sticky), Antonio (Goods), John, Cameron, Robert (Slide), Kerry (Kirky), Keith and June, as well as, a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
