Patricia T. Williams

PATRICIA TOMLIN-WILLIAMS was born in Ft. Meade, Maryland on October 11, 1952 from the union of the late David Taylor Tomlin and Hannah Inez Tomlin. Pat as she was well known for, went to Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated with honors from Carver High School as a LPN. She furthered her education at South Baltimore General where she received her RN. Pat was a member of New Cornerstone Baptist Church for over 52 years where her father Rev. David Tomlin Sr. became pastor. She was on the Logan Gospel Chorus, New Cornerstone Mass Choir and song with her siblings the Tomlin Singers. Meanwhile, she was the Superintendent of Education Dept., which was Sunday School and Bible Study. She was the head of New Cornerstone Baptist Church’s Outreach Ministry serving the community, along with being a trustee and learning how to be the church treasurer. Pat took every position she had in the church just as serious as her RN license. She worked at Levindale as a Unit Manager and Sinai 11-7 on the cancer unit. Pat worked for Genesis as a RN floor nurse for a short period of time, then worked for Future Care where she found her work family and worked for them for MANY YEARS. Starting at Sandtown Winchester and then to Charles Village as a DON. She became an Educator at Irvington for ALL Future Care facilities. She retired from Future Care Coldspring in 2017 after being a nurse for over 45 years. Pat LOVED her family and would do anything for any of them. She believed in getting things done and that was her way of showing you she loved you. Pat was preceded by her father Rev. David Taylor Tomlin Sr., one sister Brenda Tomlin, one granddaughter Monteia Carter and one great-granddaughter Unique Wise. She leaves to mourn: her mother, Hannah Inez Tomlin; daughter, Ericka Howard; son, Micheal Williams Jr., two sisters, Deborah Rosber (husband James), Joan Turner; brother, David Tomlin Jr. (wife Sharon); honorary grandson, Darrell Wise; honorary great-grandson, Elijah Sanders Jr.; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pat also leaves a caregiver Ms. Mylashia Lewis, who did an amazing job caring for her. Fun fact about Pat, she hated pictures, loved candy apples and enjoyed giving nicknames like Snoogie, Twink, Bubbles and Boochbutt.
