Patricia Ann Edmonds

PATRICIA ANN EDMONDS was born on March 26, 1943, in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Jerome Wilson Rollins and Minnie (Burrell) Rollins. She was the youngest of four siblings who preceded her in death - Edna Parham, Doris Braxton and Jerome Rollins II. She departed this life peacefully on October 15, 2022, after some time with complications of dementia. She attended Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Frederick Douglass High School. She married and from that union she had three children - Kenneth, Robin and Michael. Later she had Warren who preceded her in death. Pat spent her early years working at Sears Department Store and Seton Institute. During this time she decided to attend Atlas School of Cosmetology where she learned her craft. She became a beautician and worked in 2-3 salons before opening her own salon in her basement. Pre-retirement, Pat put away the perms, curling irons and hair colors to work as an office manager at Marlborough Apartments for a few years before retiring to be at home with her retired husband, Donnie. Pat met the love of her life in 1978. They married on February 14, 1980. They did everything together – market, movies, malls, casinos, road trips, cruises, etc. They enjoyed traveling, playing cards, hosting cookouts, and holiday get-togethers with family and friends. Family was everything to her and anytime she had a chance, there was a road trip to visit them. Her Christmas Pajama Parties were the best! About eight years ago, Pat learned how to make no-sew throws and blankets from cousin, Jacqui. She began making them for every and anyone! One of her all-time favorite things to do was putting together puzzles – 1000-piece puzzles, covering most of the dining room table. Pat is survived by: her husband, Donald; son Kenneth (Marita) Atkins, daughter Robin (James) Oliver and son Michael Atkins; her eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren include, Shantel Atkins (Kiano, Kamren, Kairo), Roshell (Aaron) Richardson (Kaden, Kyndall), Jamia (Dimetrios) Hawkins (Zivah), Jamar Oliver, Courtney Atkins (Dylan), Cori Atkins, Shawan Johnson, Sheante Johnson (Temontae, Zion). In addition, she will be missed by a host of family and friends.
